Man, I thought the wine in Split was bad. But last night's was so so much worse.

If you are going drink outside like a bum I highly recommend Ribar or Veli Joze or even Matan wine. Digestive difficulties may arise a day later.

Also, still no word on the application, it's now been over 2 weeks. Just did another one yesterday after discovering an answer code to the stupid personality test thing they have, but I didn't even get an email about them having received the application this time. I need extra money dammit!

Ugh, I have a lv60 Paragade Femshep in ME1 that I've been working on to import into ME2 with all of the decisions specifically tailored for an awesome import and everything, but I'm on Noveria and I'm running out of steam and thinking about how awesome it would be to just play ME2 with my other imports instead.

Ugh, the reason it's such a problem is that I'm not a particularly huge fan of ME1. Dialogue is worse, characters are less interesting, no paragon/renegade interrupts, a totally ****ed inventory system, omnigel, and most of all, idiotic combat. If I were playing this crap on Insanity again, it'd be a friggin nightmare. I played through the new ME2 DLC Lair of the Shadow Broker last night and was wowed again by how much I loved basically everything about ME2, which is what's making this so hard.

Well, ME2 is a beautiful game, no doubt about it, but I much prefer the music of ME1 to that of ME2. The blue start-up screen and soothing music has put me to sleep late at night more than once

Ilos is probably the best track on ME1's OST, I agree. I don't really go for a lot of slow, soothing music, but that's pretty good as far as that goes. The End Run, Suicide Mission, Kasumi, Tali, and the Overlord combat theme are all excellent on the ME2 OST - check them out.

The Suicide Mission music for ME2 was certainly heart-pounding, though I particularly enjoyed hearing the ME1 music on Horizon and Tuchanka.

Yeah, the Ilos leitmotif reprise when you see Wrex was as heartwarming as you get with, you know, krogan.
