Awwww, who am I going to talk about ME2 with now? :(

I just spent a good part of the past 7 hours working on stupid brackets for work tomorrow, work that I'm sure will also being extremely annoying. I'd rather have been in class this week.

Had my first day of school today;
My Biology teacher seems evil thus far...
Most teachers allow I-pods he doesn't, He has already given us a project, and he has the weirdest grading scale ever. If you miss 1 problem on a paper you automatically get a D- . But if you correct it you get a A-, its very strange.. :\

You're a teenager. All teenagers know their parents are wrong, at all times and at every given point :)

Apperently explaining why she's wrong is 'backtalking'. That is so stupid.

Despite appearances to the contrary, you don't have freedom of speech until you're 18 and/or no longer living with your parents.

Why do most people I meet are usually as helpful as the plague?

Most teachers allow I-pods he doesn't,

I mean, I went to high school a long, long time ago when iPods didn't exist and almost no one had a cell phone, but I can't imagine teachers allowing them in class; aren't they kinda, like, disruptive and not conducive to the actual purpose of having a class in the first place?

Supposedly some people do classwork better with music playing in their ears; it isn't like teachers let people use iPods while they're actually talking.

Personally, I disapprove of iPods in class though, because they're awfully distracting for anyone that can just hear the music from someone else's headphones.

In my day, there were no such things as iPods and only yuppies had mobiles :)

Yupp. It can be nice to listen to some music while working on a math problem. It's like you're in your own world...

If the earphones leak THAT much, then they are forced to either lower it or put it away completely.

At my college (16-18 years old) they had a policy of not having loads of stupid rules. You can bring ipods and phones to college but they were you're responsibility. As a result, everyone had both a phone and an ipod on them at all times. Most teachers would let students listen to their ipods when they were working.

Anyway, the rant: Why is the weather so ******** here?

Oxazepame helped a bit, but I still feel woozy and it makes me sleepy.

My daughter's crush has been diagnosed with brain-cancer and is going under the knife tomorrow.

I goddamn hate cancer, and it's so goddamn unfair that kids get it. We should've solved it by now, but we're all too fricken focused on wallowing in our hedonism to fix problems.

Mapping every type of cancer genome is taking time. We're gonna get at it eventually.
