That helps not. Ultimately that's still groundless superstition.
This is changing the way I look at superstitions and astrology and all that stuff in general. I used to hold an ambivalent position on them; I didn't believe them, but I didn't "disrespect" them or speak out against them either. But I've seen too many people fall for them to their own detriment. It's something worth fighting against.

Is it hot and swollen and you cannot put weight on it at all? Mine did that. Ice pack works well.

It gets extremely hot at times and is a little swollen, but i could put some weight on it. It might just be fractured or just injured some other way. But I think I might have broken the same toe earlier last year so...

The toe I broke was the second toe. At one point it swollen bigger than my big toe. It looked bad. Heres a picture I took when the swelling was down a little bit. You can see purple bruises:

I couldnt even put on a shoe. It was the middle of winter so I was hobbling around school with a double pair of socks and a bag over it to keep my feet from getting wet. It actually healed crookedly and still hurts a bit at times.
I dont know if you can tell from the picture but my baby toenail was also torn off when I broke it. I slipped on a loose rug and jammed my toes in the crack between the door and the floor.

The only difference between mid-April and November (which is what it feels like around here) is that we've got more hours of daylight and there are a few birds around that normally aren't in November.
