Work against it with action, not with emulating false feelings. Your feelings are your own and you should feel what ever dame hell is what you are feeling.

Well, for one. I would suggest not airing that you are not wanted. In the short run you may get sympathy, but after a while it drains on other people where they actually agree with your statement.
I know I am going to sound hypocritical because I kept saying the same thing, but I am on the road to recovery. All I have to say is please stop saying how you are not wanted. If I had a dollar for every time I say that I am ugly, unattractive, or unwanted; I'd be richer than Donald Trump

You know, CivG, I'm impressed. Good on you, I hope that things work out for the better.
Also worth thinking about: it's not just how you're perceived by others but how you see yourself. If you don't believe you are likeable, you won't be likeable. If you do believe you can be, then you will be. It sounds cliche, but in my experience there's some truth to it.

The enlightenment didn't really come up outside of a few multiple choice questions. The rise of the Mongols was an option for the second free response. Truth be told, I don't think I did that terribly, at least not on the multiple choice. The essays seem to be up in the air.

Aimee, seriously, the pity-party isn't going to get you anywhere. I'm gonna hazard a guess here and say that it's likely some people like you and some people don't - which is true for every one of us. Nobody here is universally loved or universally hated, including you!

You can't be liked by everyone. I was upset a while back about a comment made about me posting in the history section (why I don't post there anymore), but I'm over that. I figure as long as there isn't over 50% of the people that don't like me, I'm doing okay. 
I haven't posted in these threads before, and it's not really a rant, it's kind of funny really. A funny rant if you will.
I hate it when you misjudge how much liquid is left in the glass of water (or other liquid) you are drinking, and you lift it up too fast, spilling it all over your shirt. I feel like a 3 year old when I do that. You'd think by my age, I'd know how to drink.

If people dont like you Aime, just forget about em and move on. There are 6 billion people out there, one should not put all there hangups on a handful of people who don't like you.
During my depression, I thought the world was against me and hated by all. I even gotten depressed when I've noticed that the works I do for DYOS have gone unnoticed and left with no comments. But that's all behind me. Not sure how this would work (My depression just kind of... ...fizzled out. Must be the acceptance phase I guess. But I digress). But try wrapping a rubber band around your hand. If you feel the twinge of feeling that people don't like you. Just snap the band.
