Oh dear, please tell me if I'm unbearably insufferable with my posts.
His latest thing he told me is he said every time he sees or hears my name somewhere, he feels warm all over because it makes him think of me. And my name is pretty common, so it comes up a lot. Like he said when we were watching It's a Wonderful Life last week, he just loves hearing George say his wife's name. He's so incredibly sweet, when he tells me these kinds of things he makes me feel like the most special person in the world.

I've been curious as to why you have to be there in person. Are the others involved in this addicted to in-person meetings?

Not enough people do that anymore (and to think there was a scene in my Kingmaker story that I thought was too sentimental for modern audiences!).I have to be here to meet with the publishers. Meaning those i am not yet tied to. It is a closed circuit; eg the poe translation the chief editor liked so much had been sent before, but stopped at some employee there.

I love making pancakes, I think you'd like mine. Mine are really fluffy and sweet, I use honey instead of sugar, and they're just so tasty, I always get compliments.

I'm ignorantly from the wrong continent and have now constructed an entire narrative and lore about the illicit blending of maple syrup with cheaper substances.
You know, like with Bart Simpson's hosts on his student exchange in France. Just with syrup and some cliched Canadian things in the mix.
And i am sure they are deserved.
I agree baking is fun, hacking baking is more fun, and so is seeing people enjoy the result.

While stalking the streets looking for a place that was actually open for the night of New Years Eve, I was lucky enough to find that a newer restaurant nearby was still open. I'd only gotten bagels from this place during mornings or pulled pork rice bowls during the afternoon.
This time I saw a rack of chicken nuggets freshly made and I decided I'd try some out. Fast food nuggets are awful so I was a little worried since this is an Asian-fusion fast food place.
However, they were fantastic. They were actually manually separated balls of chicken breast with very thin breading. It was a nice treat.

Left my pup with my parents for the week. I love him to death, but I get so much more free time this way. He does love to nag me for very long walks and trips to the park at all times. And anyway he likes having a backyard to frolic in and grandparents to spoil him.

I can't sleep tonight so I'm getting a lot of my to-dos done. Researched a couple spot-training exercises, did some lore for a roleplaying project, organized my daily trackers, and did some work.
