I reinstalled CS:GO and got a five year "veteran" badge despite my 24 hours of playtime. This won the respect of the guys in a public matchmaking lobby I joined, and we won my first three games on the BR mode 'blacksite' and I got a purple rarity weapon drop worth fifty cents. Also apparently I'm a prime member because Valve upgraded my account for me, no action required. Nice.

Rave: After successfully finishing NaNoWriMo I decided to keep working on my story (instead of waiting for the "editing phase" in January/February), setting a goal of 30,000 words by the end of January. This time no writer's block has gotten in my way, and at 6208 words, I'm ahead of schedule.

Yes, but he's also been very adamant over the years that he likes to be paid for his lectures, as well.

I'm feeling so absolutely wonderful!

I don't know if it's my Zoloft starting to work (I'm on day 8 of my medication!), or if I'm just really happy for my break from work starting in forty minutes (I'm off for almost 3 weeks!), or if I'm just excited for my getaway tomorrow, but I've just been very happy for several days now, I haven't been having any disturbing thoughts. I've also been reading things that would've really upset me before, but now they feel like it's just rolling off my shoulder.

I think I am getting over my existential fear of flying - or at least I have gotten over it enough to look forward to my Hawaiian vacation next week.

I still run through plane crash scenarios in my head but I am learning to ignore it and short circuit the waking nightmares.
