Can I suggest a compromise of sorts? I know it's unlikely, but here it is. Pineapple and ham is acceptable on pizza. No pineapple in other circumstances, this is a single recipe only.

For real though, have you guys had pineapple wrapped in bacon, just those two items alone? It's the best thing ever. Now put it on pizza, which is also the best thing ever. Oh my god.

I highly recommend trying spinach, peppers, and pineapple. Please don't knock it until you've tried it, the flavor combination is delightful.

Ham is vile and disgusting.

I would agree if by peppers you just mean flakes of crushed red pepper, but definitely not if you mean fresh or pickled bell peppers. Their texture is unacceptable. Almost as bad as mushrooms.

Red onions should be added instead.

Ham is indeed vile and disgusting. Bacon is even worse, especially if its grease is allowed to mix with the cheese.

The only meats I'd want on my pizzas are Pepperoni and Chicken.

Get a meatlovers pizza, it has 7-8 meats on it. With BBQ sauce.

Hawaiian pizza isn't that great. I'll eat it if it's free.

Pineapple really only belongs in ham steaks. Can't remember the last time I ate a hamsteak.

Just for sake of argument, is there any pizza you wouldn't eat if it was free?

Seafood.

I remember being really hungryon holiday. Sister told me to wait as we're going out on the boat and there's pizza.

It was Seafood. All of it.

Went hungry that day.

Is seafood pizza even a thing?

I recall from the 99.99% infallible New Scientist that 'Muricans tend to have a far sweeter tooth than anybody else, helped along by cheap sugar cane and horrific (i.e. any larger than 0) amounts of HFCS.

The HFCS way more so than the cheap sugar cane, a lot of our food with added sugar has added corn sweetener, not "real" sugar.

Also, here is the list of acceptable things to pair pineapple with on pizza: Ham, Bacon (Canadian or non-Canadian varieties), certain kinds of Peppers. End of list. Pineapple and Spinach is right out. Spinach can acceptably be combined with other vegetables or with Chicken, but Pineapple + Spinach is an absolute no.

Seafood? Possibly (to quote a convo from fiftychat) DEN BESTE. ANSJOVIS!

I started losing weight years ago as a consequence of simply not adding sugar to things. It took me a couple of years to unsweeten my palate. There's little to no HFCS used here so it was easier; I wonder how I would have fared had I been attempting this in the US. :/

A spinach-white sauce (a.k.a. bechamel) combination. Hmmm… I should make some.

My earlier rave about ordering pizza turned into a rant. The 'free pizza' came with so many hidden fees it cost more than if I bought it straight.

It simply would not have been possible. Sugar is in literally everything here. Including things such as *checks kitchen* beans and soup.

Lemme get this straight @aimeeandbeatles ...you have actually read 883 works of fanfiction?

I read 698 of them, though I'm almost finished my 699th

I've been collecting them over the span of 8 years though. Considering that most of them are one-chapter fics, it's not really as much as it seems.

In fact the vast majority of them turned out to be one-chapter fics
