That's a few books. I haven't had that many books for a system since 3.5 and Pathfinder.

I have them as well. 6 Pathfinder and 50 or 60 3E.

5th edition D&D looks pretty cool. It looks like it leans harder into actual roleplaying than previous editions, which had gone more for the wargaming & numbercrunching style. I don't think I know anybody who still has the time to play D&D, though.

That's a fine collection, but your shelves are definitely buckling under the weight. Try putting the heaviest books on the edges and the lighter books in the centre.

Rave: I needed a scrap piece of wood for a fixit project and I had a scrap piece of wood of exactly the needed size.

what's the difference between random rants and random raves? and if you have a question but it's kind of a rant where does it go?

For example, I can't stand Billie Eilish music. I don't get why people think it's good. It's just an emo chick whispering lyrics with either guitar acoustics or some kind of remixed beat. What's the appeal? I have no idea how it can beat Lizzo for example who just has awesome songs and a strong voice.

Questions usually go to questions thread, but rants is also acceptable. This whole thing here sounds like a rant, not a rave.

Rants are for bad stuff. Raves are for good stuff.

@civvver Rants tend to complaining or telling tales of woe. Raves tend to be about happy things and good news.

Rave: gonna go play Path of Exile for a bit!

Kinda wish they would make mobile versions of all these tabletop games to make it easier for groups that can't always get together in one place to play the game.

Roll20 is an approximation of the D&D IRL experience.

They don't have one for Warhammer 40k though. The closest thing is a fan-made module for use with Vassal, which is a program that allows people to make online versions of boardgames.
