Awesome view of the sunrise from the airport in Providence this morning, and flying out to KC right now.
Sent via iPad in the air, in-flight wifi for the win.

It's such a relief to wake up from a bad dream.

Finally some winter weather, 5ºC at noon.
And with perfect timing because we had +20ºC two days ago and were able to hang out all day.
I had someone on the internet ask me if I work for Valve. That was strange but also sort of flattering too.

I'm confused though.
Maybe because you constantly post pics of Valve stuff?

Finally at my mom's house outside of Kansas City! I'll be here for a month, screwing around :p

Also, thanks to the generous Mechaerik, I got EUIII up to DW for free with one of the gamekeys he had laying around :D

EDIT: Within 5 minutes, the download speed went from 1.4MB/s down to 0KB/s and back to 1.4MB/s. I :lol:d

That's EU III, not II. :)

Well, you know what Gandhi said: "An I for an I makes the whole world blind." :)

I think using a computer too much and, uh, being a teenager, probably do that instead. :)

I just came back home from a concert which was pretty great. I go to another one in the very same place in a week. :D

Australia aren't doing too well in the Ashes right now, it has to be said...

We just can't bat. The worse part is that Australia A got bowled out for a measly 150-ish against lowly Zimbabwe, so unless Cowan has magically found form in the nets or we play Wade as a specialist batsman, we've got nothing waiting in the wings to improve the team.

The weather's really unpleasantly hot right now, which certainly doesn't help, but your team should be used to endless stifling heat!

Shame that cricket, like so many things, is a game of two halves. :)

Hot? But, the weather is nice! I got out to buy some book called Deaf Sentence with a pleasant 5ºC. A mere four layers of clothing did the trick.

Unbearably, stiffling hot inland, today: 30C. I was really relieved to get back home on the coast where there is a bit of a breeze and it's five degrees cooler.

Plants in the greenhouse looking good though - after I'd been away for a week, I was expecting to have lost some.

Rant-Rave: Wow that origami butterfly was hard, especially when they seemingly skip a step and you're somehow supposed to just know. Anyways, at least now I have this:
