Skirts? Nothing like a kilt.

Unbearably, stiffling hot inland, today: 30C. I was really relieved to get back home on the coast where there is a bit of a breeze and it's five degrees cooler.
We're rocking 40C in the sun here. :pat:

I fail to see how that's considered a rave.

I didn't say my post was a rave. I was simply replying to a post in the thread.

Yes. I understand the southern states do get hot.

But we're simply not used to it. And the buildings aren't generally designed for it. And the British do like something to complain about. And all last week I was either stuck in an unbearably hot building, or toiling up and down a steep road.

I was fed up.

Still. Mustn't grumble.

It could be worse, Borachio - we could be doing as badly in the Ashes as the Aussies are. :)

That's very interesting. Could you elaborate? :)

It's raining!!!

(It's a rave because its some relief from the heat wave)

I went to a STL Cardinals game last night - had a blast.

Though I expected high food and beer prices, I still got sticker shock.

I see your point, my intercontinental ballistic co-poster.
