I was ill on Tuesday and I missed a quiz, but I can make it up tomorrow so all is good in my life.

Edit: "inorite". Is that supposed to be "I know, right"?

Well on my computah your first post came on April 2nd so it can only be judged as an epic failure. Good day, sir.
 
Just got off the phone, all the details and paperwork for us buying a house has been finished, filed and ok-ed. We've have had a lot of problems with insurance companies, the mortgage dealer, and even the hospital to get them simply doing their job. And our advisor was a piece of crao.

But now finally everything is settled. And you know the best part of it? We're getting the key tomorrow. So all of this was stretched untill the very last moment. The last 2 weeks have been organising hell and if ANYONE EVER tells me how companies are so much less bureaucratic than the government I'm going to laugh and point at them.

Jeebus Cripes, that was an intense 2 weeks. If we had failed to get our stuff in order (which we did 2 months ago, the bloody companies mentioned didn't deliver) we'd have faced a 18,000 Euro fine. We could have stretched that date by 2 weeks with legal procedures, but I'm glad we barely escaped that route. One freaking day in advance ffs. Phew. I feel like I have run a marathon.

Anyway, we're good now and tomorrow we'll get the key and forget all about this mess. I'm relieved, happy and still can't believe how close this was :D :woohoo:
 
This seems really small in comparison to Ziggy's rave - holy crap, buying a house seems so scary to me now...congratulations, dude! - but I have successfully won a history argument on another forum within my account's first six posts. :D
 
Congrats Zig! If my woman ever finishes school we are probably going to go the condo route. I'm looking forward to it, but it seems so far away.
