Oh, yeah. Can't be a multiple of 20; then your post gets lost in the shuffle. I've held off posting posts when I've seen they were going to be the last one on a page.

In any case, does aimeeandbeatles have a carrot fixation?

At the same time though, knowing your post is going to get lost in the shuffle can sometimes allow you to get away with something you might otherwise get infracted for.

I think I should stop drinking and go to bed now because I have a lot of dinking to do tomorrow.

Come up with an insightful comment for a thread and it gets locked literally 0.5 seconds before i hit the post reply button. Some timing i have...

I hate when that happens, especially when it's me making a well thought-out response to somebody who was rude to me.

Then I always think: "If only I had put less effort into my post!"

You mean you'll be playing the classic fantasy game Dink Smallwood?

It's a great choice.

Dink's mother might still be alive had he not killed that duck!

We have a right to stay silent, but do we have a right to speak up and incriminate ourselves?
What if the cop tells us to shut up and just ignores our confession?
It's like the system is designed to make life easy for cops.

But...that's your house behind you.

Completely at random, my bf told me that the eyes of the person I'm drawing are too far apart. I couldn't believe what he was saying, because I was sure I always draw faces that way. So I showed him some of the drawings I did earlier this (last) year, and he confirmed that to him, all of those faces have eyes that are too far apart. He had already seen some of those drawings, so no idea why he didn't mention that before, but... after he said that, I scanned some of the images and played around in photoshop, and he's right... the faces look a lot better when I move the eyes closer together. More so, now that I've played around with it, all of my original faces look like alien faces to me.

I guess that's why people say you improve fastest when you have people who give you feedback.

I'm tempted to start a thread about the fine line between free speech and spewing racist bile but i'm certain it will devolve into a mud-slinging flamefest.
So instead i will head over to Apolyton to play Whack-A-Trumpster.

I don't know, sounds like a fun thread to me.
Or how about having a discussion about the Ethics of Voluntary Eugenics based on monetary benefits next?

Aren't the eyes supposed to be one eye-width apart from one another?

Yeah, that's a good rule of thumb. I usually draw full-body poses on normal-size paper atm and don't measure stuff, so the actual difference on the paper isn't that big. I guess that's why I missed it, but if you zoom in digitally, it becomes really obvious. That also exposes my terrible line quality. :p

A bit of a random story. Just felt like telling it.

When I was a kid, I heard a song somewhere...and got it stuck in my head for the next fifteen years. I couldn't remember a thing about it, but every so often part of the riff would pop into my head, and I eventually became convinced that I had somehow made the entire thing up. Until last year, when I finally heard it on the radio and nearly fell out of my chair in surprise. Here's the song in question. And a YouTube link.

Of course, it wasn't until afterwards I learned about those music identification thingys. Would've been nice to know that before.
