All cats do that. When they they only curl the sides, it means the cat is hissing. If they curl the tip, it means the cat is yawning.
This cat is hissing. Note how tightly the sides of the tongue are curled inward, and the tip is not curled. This cat is uttering angry four-letter words. Another indicator of mood (anger vs. fatigue, sleepiness, or boredom) is that the ears are back. I read that cats have 32 muscles in their ears, and if you learn what the different positions mean, you can tell a lot about what a cat is thinking or feeling.
This cat, on the other hand (paw?) is yawning. Note how the tongue both curls at the sides and the tip. The side curling is usually much looser, and the ears aren't back in the same way as when the cat is angry.
BTW, I defy anyone here to do a Google image search for yawning cats and stop yourself from yawning when you're looking at a screenful of them. Cat/human yawns are contagious. I keep yawning just from looking at this photo.

Some of her show's crew members have come out and said she's basically not the person she is on TV.
I think people eat up a lot of the gossip because Ellen's show persona is built around that, right? But I remember Rosie O'Donnell had a show too once that was kind of similar, and her personality too was like that. At some point, it finally surfaced on her show. I think it was that gun control thing she went on about with Tom Selleck when he was just there to plug his movie.

Does Ellen do serious interviews on her show? I watch a lot of Dick Cavett and Tom Snyder reruns, and those guys really had interviewing skills. But those are different shows run at different times; I always thought of Ellen as just kind of daytime filler material because they can't run six hours of Judge Judy... can they?
