Looking at my Uber app, the expected cost of a rideshare is, er... $76. Taxi is "more reasonable" at $34. This is the downside of having our airport on its own island a few miles away.
I'm not really worried at this point. About this, anyway.
I really is depressing reading through old threads that get linked below. So many fond memories, now gone and uncontactable.

That is this story? Someone using anal beads to do the impossible?
Last week, world chess champion Magnus Carlsen, withdrew from a major tournament with a $350,000 prize money after his unexpected defeat by underdog Hans Niemann.
Chess fans speculated that anal beads could transmit messages from an accomplice who was watching the game being broadcast live online and consult an AI to transmit the perfect move.
However, it’s unclear if Niemann could be beating the tournament’s anti-cheating precautions, which include a 15-minute delay in the broadcast of moves and radio-frequency identification checks.

Fwiw, Hans' chess analysis skills are apparently (for this level) non-existent, and he claims he is just way too instinctive. I am not a GM, and for a layman that does sound a bit suspicious.

If you are wondering what the moves were in the game, Hans is playing black and this is a recreation of it - with some analysis:
After the exchange massacre mid-game, there were a couple (or three) moves by Hans with (apparent) calculation for variations for up to 4 moves ahead. It has become a bit of an issue why he didn't just give the analysis of all those in his interviews. Those moves are similar in that they start by giving up a piece but ultimately factor in that in 3-4 moves they will take back at least the same value and improve the positioning, which in the end led to far better pawns for black.
