Yes, I'd say we wait for NP to come back and then start a game where only the AI can build settlers and we only get auto-produced settlers. I think a variant without any settlers wouldn't work.

We need to pick a Civ though

or "random" by letting civinator choose - one he wants to test or one he thinks appropriate or likes.

Thank you all very much for your input in the further development of CCM - and I´m also very glad that you are still reflecting about a new CCM sucession game. :)

In the special biq, do you want, that the AI civs can build settlers manually in addition to the autoproduced settlers, or do you want that they should build settlers manually instead of the autoproduced settlers? I suggest that the AI can build settlers in addition to the autoproduced settlers.

If I should chose a civ, I have two great civs of CCM in my view, with tons of custom unit graphics - one of them with a not so easy gameplay. :D

In addition to autoproduced settlers, please.

    Sounds good to me.

I do think the AI's manually-built settlers need to cost food, though.

Would that include Motorized Settlers, too?

Well, I think the AI will hit the city limit in no time....let's just see what happenes.

And yes, civinator, feel free to choose a nice civ for us

We will need to do/install anything extra/special to use this biq?

Hmm, either way would work for me. I like having Settlers (and Workers!) cost food, but I'm sure Civinator had a good reason for making them not cost food in CCM. Given the way the CCM games have played out, I don't think it matters.

Oh one other thing. I observed that the diety AI seemed to get 3 settlers at the start(watching the replay). If they can build their own and autoproduce them, then that would be too much. I think we would want them to start with normal diety start if they can build them.

(unless you guys want to play a really hard game)

A nice finish by Rat and Greebley, and some good discussion. I can't add anything right now because I'm limited to a smartphone and typing is tedious.

March 15 sounds good for the new game--thanks for waiting.

I'm back and ready to go. So, Civinator, would you like to unveil our mystery civ? Rat, would you like to start the new thread?

Playing at deity with the AI civs allowed CCM auto-built settlers in addition to normal settlers, I think we could definitely lose. But that's fine--some real tension always adds interest.

I agree with Greebley's suggestion that the enemy civs don't need a better-than-deity start on top of everything else, if that's a change that can be made easily.

Let's shoot for the moon! We'll need to do lots of warring to keep up, but I think it would be fun to go for the Moon Landing victory.

Which is to say, there's really no victory condition that doesn't require us to conquer most of the world, at a serious difficulty level. So we'll be playing most of the game the same way regardless of our choice. :hammer:

Hi, I haven´t forgotten you all.:)

May be some of you have seen, that I had to use all my rare Civ-freetime to push the WW2 scenarios SOE (Storm Over Europe) and WW2 Global Gold in their betatesting. Especially SOE could be interesting for fans of CCM, too, as this scenario uses many mechanics of gameplay that were introduced with CCM and this scenario also shows some important construction mechanisms of the CCM world map and why it is a mass of work to do this worldmap, so the basis map still exists since a long time.

SOE can be found here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=454785 and
    WW2 Global Gold Here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=454734

This weekend I hope to have the time to do the changes to the CCM biq you wished and to give you that biq. :)
