I just spent half the weekend reading this from start to finish. Amazing game and amazing reporting.

I learned some basic concepts to take back to my own games and was entertained at the same time. Bumping it so someone else who missed it the first time round can find it as well.

Well, now that this was bumped, I can finally post my two cents.

I subscribed to this thread when it came out, but I never got around to reading through every update. So in September, every night or so, I'd read a couple of pages; sort of a bedtime story. I just wanted to say that this was an amazing game, very fun to follow. I truly enjoy both of your sites ( Epic 18 is still my favorite Sullla write-up) and hope to enjoy them for years to come.

Hey guys, I´ve learned more about CIVIV while reading this thread than in 4 month playing it myself. Before reading it, I was happy to play on chieftain level and thought: "Hey you are doing well"

Now, I´ve started immediately up to Noble and what shall I say: It seems to become a cultural victory
