I think we should try to abduct some of the personnel at Valhalla, THEN blow it up. It would be shame to waste good research, even if it is enemy research. Particularly if we could make it OUR research.

I agree with WIM on the scientists. We should have a look at what they have accomplished so far, and then decide as to whether or not we should fund it.
As for the Crimean facility, we need to destroy it. It will do a great deal of harm to us if left alone. Even if nothing of importance comes from it, then we can still use its destruction to push things into our favor. A Ukrainian assault would really hurt the Russians and possibly lead to greater acts of rebellion. Though an Arab attack could draw Ragnar into an eastern war, thus pulling troops away from the Norse land.

I support what Sergei has said. But it is imperative that we are in no way linked to the operation. We should first try to recruit Arabs for the job and have the Night Eagles act simply as leaders. If they do not join us, we can have the Night Eagles in desguise do the job. Before we blow it up, we should kidnap a few scientists to see how far they have gotten

Why dont we combine these issues? It seems our enemies have a research facility that may or may not be making progress. These scientists claim they are on the verge of a breakthrough. So we send the night eagles in and capture the staff at the place with the help of ukrainian troops, as well as any funds they have stored there. Then we merge these scientists with the team of people that have approached our government, and use the captured funds to fund all of them, with a SMALL amount of government funding. Once the scientists are captured, then we blow the facility, leaving a few survivors. This next point is key: all of the night eagles and ukrainians will have to use arabian weapons so they are the ones that are blamed.
Then we have a crack team of scientists to finish the research all of them started, and then to think up whatever techs we want them to. Of course we will have to promise amnesty to the nordic scientists, and maybe send some token support to the ukrainians in the future, covertly of course.

1) How dedicated are they to their cause?
2) How many of them are there?
3) How much support amongst the general populace do they have?
