You know what? I think I am IN.
I'm making a huge assumption that it isn't really necessary to be a fan or have a lot of knowledge about whatever theme the game is based on, or make up a lot of big RPG type input for these games. Though if a player can do that it's more gratifying to the GM who goes to a lot of trouble to make roles etc. to fit in with the theme.
