Fiji to become the Seventh State
The president has anounced, so that foriegn powers cease to take over the Fiji Islands, that the Islands shall be offered a position as the seventh state within the United States. Upon invitation, the people of Fiji took to the polls. The results came in yesterday - a vast majority (84.39%) decided that becoming a state within the nation would be a good idea. The inaugeration took place today on the islands themselves, and are now apart of the United States of America.
Aid Sent to Russia
The President today sent a huge aid packet, one out of two, to the Russian government. The project was expected to be worth $5.6 billion, and by next year the total aid sent would equal to the amount of $11.2 billion, enough to help the Russian economy recover from it's recent collapse.
International Space Station
President Jose Rivera decided today that he shall ask the Russian government if they would like to join hands with the United States in forming a huge international, multi-billion dollar space station that would orbit our Earth. It is rumored that the Russian government has already offered this deal, but the President was not sure if it was directed towards the United States or not. NASA is expected to lead the United States in the research and development of the station, and to coinside with the Russian space program for this enormous task of mankind.
Oil Deals expected to strengthen
The need for more oil within our growing economy has expressed the request for higher oil deals. President Jose Rivera has held a international meeting for oil deals with the Arabian, Texas, Egyptian and Russian officials to strengthen the trade between them and our own country. Also, huge oil reserves are found underneat out great Venezuela lake, and scientists believe over 1/5 of the world's oil may be hidden beneath the lake.
United States To become a Security General of the UN
Under an international vote, the United States has become a Security General within the United Nations, a new institution founded for keeping world wide peace, and for the world majority to have a say in what goes on within international politics. Securitary General Rumsfield is expected to lead the United States and represent it in the United Nations.
Economy to be the Strongest and Consistant
According to officials of International Economies, the Untied States is the leader. The economy has been more then prosperous for more then 5[00] years, and that tops the charts as the most consistant, and the most strongest economy in the world! The president is pleased to say that "we are keeping the economy this way so that the living standards of our people greatly outdo anyother country in the world, even if it means the slow buildup of our military power."
