yeah you should have definitly razed Sparta, if you did then Athens would be a monster

not the historic victory but the actual empire:

Not counting the bit in Turkey (which given 2 culture expansions Athens will reach), the city of Carthage (which we techincally speaking have, just razed) and Eastern Spain, we have the Roman empire for the time period.

It is quite easy to settle Spain, conquer France and hang on to one of them (or both) when the europeans spawn.

That's true, but is the Bosporus included in Roman territory on the map? (although it WOULD get that territory, it's not historically accurate, then again, I don't care what you do.)
