8 strength vs 7.5, the axeman is invincible to any melee unit except for the Preat, the Preat beats out the ancient age rock paper scissors game... (Sordsman>Axeman>Chariots, there is no early game unit that has favorable odds attacking the Preat if unpromoted, regardless of how many promotions the Preat has...)

erm... perhaps those "greater than" signs should be flipped around??

all I'm saying is that preatorians aren't invincible, only really jacked up. Yes, they give you a definite advantage. Isn't that the point of special units??

And btw, the Native American special unit is very effective against praetorians found that out the hard way...

Native American has strength of 8, tied with Preats. However the Preat on average will beat any ancient age unit except the Dog Warrior, which is underpowered in every other field...

i used to really like the Hwatcha, an axe and cat put into one, but then BTS had its new seige limit rules (plus i like the extra research from their UB)
