[R&F] Rise and Fall Live Stream General Thread

One thing we're missing when we factor in these huge production costs:

Has anybody addressed in any of the streams how supply convoys work yet?

A tooltip was shown yesterday. They are support units. They give healing and +1 movement speed.

Bah. Nevermind. Was hoping they functioned as a way to move food/production to another city.

Color me disappointed.

For a split second I saw Timur listed as a great general. Will go and screencap it after the stream ends.

That was a tough game. All that work to take that city, then the city flips, takes it back. It stabilized in a normal age, but was still stuck at size 1 with bad production. Higher difficulties are going to be quite difficult this expansion.

Maybe he's the Great General who replaced Genghis Khan?

Quill18 just quit his Mongolia game in the livestream...:p He's starting a Georgia one...then he restarted again

That’s lame. ;)

As long as people don't complain that hard levels are too hard I'm okay with that.

You can just raze everything and resettle it. It is not as bad as it sounds becuase you can get +50% + free builder with one of the early government buildings.

Boo!

On topic: do we know any EC buildings now provide tourism? If no then Water Park seems strictly better as long as you have water, unless you want an occasional EC to stack the amenities.
I haven't paid close attention in the bits I've watched, and I don't believe anyone has noted yet in this thread if they've noticed changes to the EC buildings. (I know people have wanted them to provide tourism, and I think it would make sense, but I don't think w know yet.)

Got it :)

I don't think it makes sense to give preview builds to a forum, or forum users...it's a press/media thing. Streamers count as media, they promote the game. We may be the most dedicated fans around, but we are just players.

Anyway, one thing I have not been able to find out yet: is England getting nerfed by this expansion? I believe that they used to get trade routes for both the Royal Navy Dockyard and the Commercial Hub. I wondered if this was intentional or a bug. Now that the trade routes are tied to the Market and Lighthouse buildings, of which England does not have a unique version. Poland has a unique market, though...

Getting trade routes for both was a buff for England implemented in the second patch. We haven't heard how this is going to work in R&F, but I doubt it will be removed.
