That one wonder is really bugging me. It’s certainly Islamic architecture, but it lacks the minarets you’d expect from a mosque. It has crenellations and is certainly fortified, but it does not look Moroccan, so won’t be a kasbah.
The blue dome suggests a central Asian or Persian caravanserai, but the fact it has a coastal feature throws that off too.
The closest I could find are Huzrat Ali's Mosque, Ezra's Tomb, and some near the
"Lapis Lazuli regions" - Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Samarkand - but nothing
with exactly those crenellations.
