Louisiana issues a statement that while Iccans hold several key political posts, the great nation of Louisiana will not be participating in the Eastern Seaboard conflict. Louisiana will, however, defend the Mandate’s home territories from aggression, and the Louisianan fleet is positioned to defend the Gulf as well as the Mandate’s positions in Florida.

While Louisiana supports the Mandate’s claim to Sable Island in moral terms, it will not commit any service members to the area. As no foreign power landed on the Mandate’s soil, furthermore, we do not consider this an invasion activating our alliance. Earlier today the Prophet Tzin Temachtiani made a visit to Gibraltar as part of the pilgrimage to Jerusalem, taking time to greet local worshippers. The Prophet shaken the hands of dozens fortunate followers and was said to have even cured one child of a terminal illness. Tzin spoke with local Iccanite priests on the isle, including members of the Gibraltarian Chosen Council. Tzin Illuminates Cyprus

The Prophet Tzin Temachtiani has made landing and a tour of Cyprus, escorted by High Priestess Eréndira Atzin of Ameyalli Teopan who greeted Our Holiness with a gift of a sea salt crown which the Prophet threw into the waves to crown all of Cyrpus with the soverieng supremacy of the righteousness. We witness man inflict pains against man and each action of sin drags the Earth down into the Abyss. We see starvation while gluttony is present. We see those without shelter while empty houses are present across the lands. We see those die without water while water is wasted. We see those naked while cloth is wasted for the sake of fashion. We see people killed while the pointlessness of conflict has always been present without a veil. We see virtue dismissed while sin continues its destructive march across this reality. Emperor Grants Constitution

After the breakout of riots, members of the Chicago elite joined forces with soldiers returning from the Keetowah War (freshly exposed to ideas such as democracy, equality and liberty from the frontlines) to demand the Emperor grant limits on his powers. The upper house shall have the power to reject the laws proposed by the Government, while the lower house shall have the power to confirm Government appointments. The Emperor retains primacy over firing Government officials, but if both chambers of the Parliament vote no confidence in an official or an entire Government, all relevant officials are dismissed.

In terms of rights, suffrage has been granted to all people over the age of 18, though it may be revoked for certain criminal offenses. Basic rights such as housing and healthcare have been written into the constitution.

Elections are to be held via proportional representation and instant runoff ballots. The Emperor and opposition leaders will meet to create an independent committee that pre-approves candidates for provincial and national offices, with the committee’s membership being staggered and gradually altered by future Parliaments.

Samson gained widespread respect among New Yorkers and won both the first and second presidential elections of the new republic with ease. His administration spread New York City’s influence stretch across two oceans, defeated and replaced a despotism (the Meiguo Corporation) with a flourishing democracy (the Lenape Commonwealth) on the city’s border, and secured stability across the eastern seaboard by tethering New York’s allies with SEATO – creating a powerful alliance of freedom-loving nations.

This year his tenure ends in adherence of the constitution of New York City which permits a maximum of two terms for the highest office of the city-state. Samson did little to build a political party around himself which has left the presidential field wide open to contenders of different political backgrounds. UCA tanks roll into Mandate territory, a heavy fight in front of them with the Mandate having anticipated their arrival, but UCA’s tactics and training secure an edge.

The real interesting development, however, is a giant SEATO fleet arriving off the shores of Texas. At first the Mandate’s Navy rejoices at deliverance… then the SEATO fleets start shooting.


Naval War

SEATO sends no less than 205 Navies, backed by 210 of 420 air wings. The Mandate’s fleet, one of the most powerful in the world, finds itself against a monolithic opponent.

The Mandate manages to sink 3 ships (destroying 1 Georgian and 1 Washington Army) and shoot down 2 air wings, but loses all 87 ships. The coast is literally clear for an amphibious invasion of the Mandate.

Air War

The Mandate’s Holy Air Force is hammered from both North and East, but tries desperately to fight off the invaders. The Mandate defends with 40 Air Wings, backed by 71 Conscripts. Against them, a massive 720 Air Wings.

The Mandate destroys 3 Air Wings, while losing all 111 air wings.

Texas Front

With the destruction of the Mandate’s Navy and Air Force, all that remains is the Army and its land-based auxiliary forces. 632 Armies bear down on their 114 Armies and 121 Conscripts.

The Mandate loses 155 Armies, but destroys 13 Coalition forces. They retain 47 provinces, but the rest of Texas is swallowed up by Coalition forces, and the Mandate is placed under blockade. It has become the new New Frontier. 118 provinces fall under occupation.

New Frontier War

TNF defends with 36 regulars and 18 conscripts.

The Cherokee and their allies advance once more against the New Frontier. This time around, TNF does not contest the Allies’ air supremacy, which allows for direct targeting of TNF forces.

In the end, the New Frontier’s tenacity continues to keep them from being destroyed outright, but the tide turns; they are forced to retreat and begin losing ground, also losing the majority of their land forces. Analysts say the only reason the state was not wiped off the map completely was the sheer numbers they were mustering.

With the TNF’s economy almost completely destroyed, however, they are expected to be wiped out in the next wave.

As for those who now march to Texas... like Mexico they are devils and they will suffer for their sins against the Prophet.
