ok, so got orders from everyone. everything is good except for one set (you'll see in the PM i'll send if you dont get on aim soon).
both of the NPCs are now at war it seems. both were attacked, and as far as i'm concerned for no reason. both attacks were easily predictable, though there wasnt much spain could do about it. lets see the outcomes:

a couple of the battles here, are the first in the game to realy need the randomness of the battle system, i'll go through them step by step so you can see how the system works(or doesnt).
Territory 57 - Turkey 1 vs Russia 0
an attack that seemed expected by everyone who gave it some thought. The town gets razed, but no meaningfull resistance.
Terriotry 63 - Norway 4 vs Russia 0
Russia is now in a two front war, and this isnt a good opening for the second front for them.
Territory 33 - Rome 3 vs Austria 3
(A=3, D=3, so X=3) both sides roll 9(3*3) sided dice.
Attacker rolls 7, defender rolls 8.
defender looses 2 armies (7/3=2.3 round down cause his roll is bigger)
attacker looses 3 armies (8/3=2.6 round up cause his roll is smaller)
Territory 45 - Africa 4 vs Spain 2
(A=4, D=2, so X=4) Attacker rolls 16 (4*4) sided dice, defender rolls 8 sided (2*4)
attacker rolls 9
defender rolls 4
defender looses 2 armies (9/4=2.25, rouded up =3, but only 2 to loose)
attacker looses 1 army (4/4=1, rounding wont do much here, but it would be down if needed)
