There isn't a single Halo game where you can get a Stinger, though.

It MAY be able to take out a 24-meter Seraph, but I doubt it. And even if it did, there are still 99 more where that came from. And 200 Banshees. And 34 Phantoms. And a bajillion Grunts and Elites.

But in Modern Warfare 2 you can, and the only way aircraft can survive a shot from it is to use flares. And as is repeatedly pointed out, for some reason when two video games collide weapon statistics and abilities don't change.

Don't bother using that argument, I (and several other people) tried the same thing to point out that the Halo Sniper Rifle should be better than the Splinter Cell Sniper Rifle, but he still thought the Splinter Cell one would be better.

And yet, he has no problem with the massively overpowered Halo 1 Pistol, which apparently "is what the new Sniper Rifle looks like in 2552" (Yes, he said something like that), and any attempts to make him see the illogic of his arguments end in futility.

I never said the pistol was a sniper rifle, though I used a similar joke to prove my point. Your argument was that it couldn't be powerful because it was a pistol, and therefore for some reason it wasn't possible for it to be a good weapon, it had to suck, and I said some thing like "how do you know it's a pistol, how do you know that it's not the new sniper rifle in the future?" Obviously I was kidding. And I still don't see what's wrong with the pistol in Halo, why can't it be the power weapon of the game, if it even is? It's a damn skin and a name.

As for the Splinter Cell sniper rifle thing, I didn't say it was more powerful, I said with the information given about the two the Splinter Cell one was more powerful. Big difference.

It also seems that you and Double A don't understand what a little thing I like to call a "joke" is.
