In Czech forums are now Russian bots telling people to surrender, here are real people. Or at least they mimicking for this moment for 20 years![]()
No, but I think I've said what I wanted to say anyway. Anything else is just using up electricity. Talking here made me feel a little bit better so at least I could thank you all for that.@Gelion, you are wasting your time, won't be understood here.

Looking for substance in the word "good"In the last thread, you were defending Russia's actions in 2014. Could you please elaborate on how this time it's "not good at all"?

Not even Monday yet.
In some places it is.
Well it is here.
But when the big markets reopen the rubble is expected to drop more.
Stop playing the misunderstood poor guy. I was there in 2014, I saw you following the perfect propaganda guideline, defending every absurdity coming from Russia long before there were any "oppression in Donbass" pretext that you hide now behind. I remember you doing the exact same dance then than the one we saw a few days ago "lol Russia won't intervene that's ridiculous", "stop repeating propaganda it's not Russian soldiers it's just Ukrainians who want to join Russia", "Russia obviously sent soldiers to protect people", "Crimea was never really part of Ukraine anyway".@Gelion, you are wasting your time, won't be understood here.

You've been playing this game long before the pretext you use today was even imagined.
Which is a shame, because you're a pretty interesting poster when you're not in full propaganda mode.
Akka, I'm really not interested in finding out who did whatStop playing the misunderstood poor guy. But that's Putin's whole message, isn't it? Russia is the victim in all of this?Stop playing the misunderstood poor guy.

I too find the apparent gaslighting rather amusing, but in fairness it might not be surprising that Russian posters would be reticent about calling their government a gang of criminals.
You criticize your opponent for "propaganda" and immediately offer other propaganda instead of arguments, substituting concepts. "Sleight of hand, and no cheating." It is only worth declaring your wife already "killed", and immediately the world's support is on your side.
No one has "killed" his wife so far. There is nothing shameful to sleep with at least 10, at least 100 men. They don't get killed for it. The wife put a knife to the children's throats and prepared to kill them. Is it not the legal right of a father to use self-defense and stop a crazy wife? I don't know how this war will really end. But the declared goal is to wrest the knife from the hands of the crazy wife.
Moderator Action: Everyone will now stop accusing others of being part of a propaganda apparatus, or anything similar.
Views differ over the world. Please accept that.
I will answer here only once. I understand perfectly well that Russia is now a very, very, very bad guy for the whole world. Therefore, any word spoken in support of Russia's actions will be immediately declared Russian propaganda. In my country, this situation is very difficult to perceive. People are really shocked. I don't see the point in wasting time on a discussion in which I'm just another bad guy that everyone hates.
Russia's position on this issue is as follows. The situation in the Donbass absolutely repeated the Croatian attack on the Serbian Krajina in 1995 (Operation Storm). All the most combat-ready units of the Ukrainian army were concentrated around the republics. Ukraine purchased offensive weapons (Javelins and Bayraktars). The blow could have been struck at any moment. Russia had a choice to wait for Ukraine to attack first (as in 2008 in Georgia, when Tskhinvali was shelled by the Georgian Grad system). Or deliver a preemptive strike. Putin chose the second option. And I, and probably the majority of Russians, condemn him for this. For the lack of a formal reason.
But the reasons for "drawing a knife from hands a crazy wife" are obvious to us, and we consider them fair.
After the Americans said to expect it. And the invasion.I don't understand why my post has been quoted here. I did not accuse anyone of being part of a propaganda apparatus or anything similar. Rather the opposite: I was simply saying that given what has happened to the anti-war protesters in Russia it would not be surprising that Russian posters (on any website, not only here) would be reluctant to state their true feelings about the Russian operation, assuming those feelings are negative.
If you don't wish to be perceived as "a bad guy" then your out is to stop regurgitating the excuses of your government which have been revealed to everyone else in the world as obvious lies. I say this, again, as someone who had considerable sympathy (at least by the standards of this website) for "the Russian position on this issue" on Tuesday.
I also find your attempts at equivocation a bit strange. It sounds like you are saying what you really don't like is not the attack on Ukraine as such, but the fact that Putin did a relatively bad job of faking a justification for the attack.
You don't "disagree", you are telling me what my "true feelings" are.
Oh I don't?
I'm fine with Ukrainians being slaughtered?
So I made a mistake trying to explain it to you, only to be blamed in dishonesty. Good riddance.
Any pro Russian poster want to contrast Zelensky with Putin. Putin's released a couple of videos from his bunker, Zelensky is rallying his people.
