Screenshot analysis!

To me it looks like fort gives 2 bonuses:
+4 for occupying unit.
fortification bonus for occupying unit even if it's not fortified (+6 in the last gameplay video)

This looks quite strong, being +10 total.
That, to me, seems like a more meaningful number.

I hope there will be achievement where you need legions to plop four Roman forts around a barb camp...

Note the Observation Balloon. It's not a Paratrooper.

In the Rome/Kongo livestream, Ed indicated +10 is basically an era ahead.

Corps are only +10? Great that you get a Discount if you build them as corps from the start.

Remember how civ6 combat calculations work, based on the difference where 30 points of difference means immediate wipe out. +10 is good bonus and such units is more survivable than two regular ones.

Do you maybe know a good thread about it or point me somewhere where I can find more info about it?

Sorry, I thought it is common knowledge because when I founded thread asking about this apparently everyone understood this system :D

Civ 6 calculates combats based on difference

if a strength 35 unit one shots a str 5 one (difference=30)

a str 535 unit will one shot a str 505 on in exactly the same way (difference=30)

if a str 6 unit will do minor damage to a str 1 unit (difference=5)

a str 56 unit will also do the exact same minor damage to a str 51 unit (difference=5)

(...)
The new flat bonuses are easier to calculate the exact effect of (if a bit less intuitive)

We haven't seen this before, have we?

It's pretty unclear if you ask me. So +1 always, +1 if adjacent to river, and +1 after researching Steel?

They might count as both a exploration unit and a support unit. Remember you can still move Support units indepedently. It probably extends line of sight in units, and can be used indepednly to scout out.

The tooltip says something like "Modern era support unit. Adds +1 Range to Bombardment(?) units.

Would that essentially add +1 range to ranged units? That seems... strong.

Looks like the last of the four religious CS (about 56:40 in the livestream) :

Also, they fixed the Preslav icon. :)

Here is a icon on the map that looks like a shipwreck, have we seen that before?
I guess that it works like a archeology site/ruin for water, where are also two of the normal kind on land.
