No, we forgot how.

We do offer you a Alliance. One of Spain and Portugal, an Iberian Alliance. Mutual Military Protection and trade agreements. Together we can make Iberia what it should be. The greatest place on earth.

The Portugese War of Independence happened for a reason- not so that Portugal could become a Spanish puppet.

ooc: how would Portugal become a puppet in an alliance? Your diplomacy makes no sense.

OOC: Because Spain would the dominant power in the alliance, and could annex Portugal later easily. This seems to the general trend from history.

How about I just annex Peidmont instead? Infact I think I will liberate them from their current ruler and establish a new ruler just so they aren't crazy. Liberation war!

OOC: Also Neverwonagame, why would you want French help? Do you even know the history involving your King and France?

The Crazy Queen

Maria was always a strange one. From her obbsesion of orange beach towls, to a decree that all soldiers uniforms must be pink. You can see further evidence of insanity, when one of the most admired person is San Juanito carso cares jose garanato, who is currently the national pinecone eating champion. We will be back with more reports on her insantity after the Cha cha cha cha cha! line is over. Ok now its over so we will tell you of her recent decrees

1. All who has 2 girrafes must take harmonica lessons What the heck? Who owns a girrafe??

2. Jugguling is the ntional past time ok thats ok i guess

3. all beach towls must be orange who really cares about towl colors

4. Dance parties will be held every Saturday See ya, need to get ready for the party

From: Sultan Mahmud II of the Ottoman Empire
To: Great Britain & Prussia & Russia

Napoleon's near conquest of the entirety of Europe has taught us a valuable lesson. When nations are able to be taken on individually, any particularly strong nation might be able to establish a hegemony over the continent through pure speed and technological innovation. Such as what almost happened in Napoleon's case. We propose an alliance, one that could manuever itself to prevent any such power from coming that close again.

From: Sultan Mahmud II of the Ottoman Empire
To: Persia

It is well known, the slight rivalry that comes between us. It's really of no consequence to us what happens in Persia however, as long as it has no effect on our Empire. We extend the hand of peace...towards Persia. We have no interests in your territories.
