Technically both Lenin and Stalin are perfectly normal derivative pseudonyms. Neither "Lenov" nor "Stalev" are gramatically correct. As for Putin, not sure about the etymology of that one. Though there are some last names that end with "in" - they just aren't very widespread.

A lot of the Far Eastern Russians have decively Mongoloid or Oriental features. Either they are illegal Chinese immgrants or decennts of the Tartars...

Far Eastern Russians are perfectly Russian, whatever that means; however, in the Russian Far East (and all over Russia, actually, including here in Ekaterinburg) there are hordes of Central Asians, and Chinamen ofcourse.
