SheepNES: The Dragon is Awake: MAIN THREAD

To John I Szápolyai, King of Hungary and Zygmunt I Jagellion, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania
From Ferdinand I Hapsburg, Archduke of Austria and King of Bohemia

I propose an alliance, brothers, to better defend from the heathen Turk, and keep him from again reaching Vienna, or indeed, from overrunning Europe entirely. We three are the bastions of Christendom against the heathen East, why should we not be allies and friends, as well as brother-soldiers?

I will gladly accept your proposal of an alliance against the Turk.

Claiming O-MAN. Wait, what colour am I?

To Ethiopia
From Oman

WE should be glad to open a trade pact!

To the Empire of Mughals and Ottoman Empire:
From The Safavid Empire of Persia:

In recent times, it has started to become more dificult to improve economies and strengthen ourselves. We would like to establish a mutual trading pact in the best interest of our nations.

How do you expand colonies?

Please refer all future questions to the old Sign Up thread so they dont take up the nes thread, but you will spend ICs to expand your territory anywhere. You can also conuct military campaings against barbarians however you would then need to spend some IC to populate the land again with your settlers.

I'd like a map and be Haenastic League.

We agree wholeheartedly. Let Hungary, Austria, and Poland-Lithuania become friends and allies to strengthen our brotherly bonds.

To Poland-Lithuania and Ottoman Empire

The Great Knyaz of All Russians Ivan IV believes that the rulers of Russia, Poland-Lithuania, and the Ottoman Empire must decide together on the fate of the lands that now belong to the failing Golden Horde.

Many lands that have for ages been Russian and many cities that the hardworking Russian people have built have been for too long the property of the Tatar-Mongols and it is time for the last of the Mongol states to cease its existence.

It is best, however, that instead of fighting over the pelt of the bear before killing it, we work together to slay the beast, and I am sure we will all receive what we wish for in the end.

OOC: One more time since people are ignoring it

Poland-Lithuania agrees. However, this topic must be discussed further and in more detail before any action is taken.

In that case we suggest that Poland and Lithuania lay out the terms that they believe are acceptable to the process of dismantling the remnants of the Tatar state.

Since I've learned from justokre there is no starting Emperor, can we run for the job?

*Since you are talking about a state that isn't on the map, I will assume you basically mean eastward expansion.*

Poland-Lithuania would like access to the Caspian Sea and the territory between our current borders and the northern coasts. We don't really care too much about what the Russians take (as long it isn't huge tracts), and we are VERY concerned over what the Ottomans would want.

OOC: And I'm going to manipulate my currency to allow for lop-sided trade like in OTL modern china BWAHAHAHAHA!

From: Sweden

We would like to make trade agreements with you, and perhaps further diplomatic relations.
