I'm not going to get into this kind of talk yet, but remind me to show you the articles about how gun sales are up yet violent crime is down later.

If i recall the same trend of violent crime decreasing is happening in the UK, yet we have much more stringent gun laws.

It might not even be linked, just throwing that out there.

Well that's great to hear, I guess we're all getting better. Now lets focus on updating this thread with details on this event as they come.

Well, it would be preferable to actually talk about solutions that actually have some sort of impact on these type of things of course options seem to be pretty limited. But I'm usually game to talk about gun regulations and how they won't prevent shootings like this in America.

Good job on hijacking the thread, Useless.

And you helped him.

Watch this, ready? Are you sure? If not, go ahead and get a breath. What I'm about to do would astound all but the most hardened of forumgoers.

On-Topic:

I used to know a guy who lived in Clackamas. Sad to remember him because of something like this.

This American tradition is a regular and apparently unstoppable occurence. Let's just hope we and our kith and kin don't wind up victims.

Yes.
Over here in Europe we have guys running into malls in full combat armor with a bunch of steak knifes trying to kill people all the time.
Oh, and kids trying to kill as many class mates as possible with some steak knifes. That happens a lot too.
Oh, and soccer players killing their family and themselves with a steak knife.

Really, these things happen here all the time.
To the point where it's virtually impossible to watch the fracking news, cause it's so damn frequent.
Only an idiot would think this has something to do with guns.

More on The Factor at 8.

Sounds like the situation is more or less resolved; police radio says that they are telling everyone to come out of the mall now with their hands up...

Someone shot people.

Therefore, ban guns.

Flawless logic.

There is still a lot of violent crime in the UK bub...they have knives there you know.

In fact, there was a bbc article some years back that indicated that the UK and Scotland had some of the highest violent crime rates of any first world country. Hooligans you know.

Yeah, let's not. Let's instead relegalize grenade launchers and bazookas...

Government is far more murderous than anyone else. If anyone should not be allowed to have weapons, it is the government.

Good job on hijacking the thread, Useless.

Indeed.

I think the media is doing this on purpose. Not the killings themselves, which everyone should mourn, but the frequent reporting. They want gun control and they're going to do everything they can so they get it.

Which no one has used

Useless just did, were you sleeping?:crazyeye:

This is what happens when you legalize weed and let gays marry AT THE SAME TIME
