In between, made 20 more turns fine with that, no memory allocation error or other crash (high resolution texxtures, all animations and effects on, but not "show friedly moves").

I only made those errors visible in the release dll nothing else. It looks like nobody used the debug dll to check for such errors and that is the reason everybody thought things where working fine.

OK, the actual error check should be something like:-
If after checking for WoC dependencies on the building infos file there is no building left for the building class then the building class is not used and there is no error.

If there are no buildings defined for the building class before the WoC dependencies remove them then there is an error.​

And how could this detect things like typos in the name?

I have a plan how to fix the WoC type dependencies and to make the loading code a bit cleaner. But time is the issue and i can't say how long it takes before i can finish this.

I have a problem with my current v34 game, i have two rebel civilizations that i have killed ( They don´thave any city or unit) but they are still on the game annoying me because of war weariness. Is there any way of get rid of them?. Thanks in advance.
Are you playing with 'Requires Complete Kills'? If not... are all of your options working correctly otherwise? We had a situation on the SVN that caused a number of games some issues with their option settings...

OK i figured out what was wrong here, i put MY Handicap system ingame, but when i did it, i had the "replacement ID" tag in there, that when everything went from 30 to 5 minutes, then i figured out that was it so it deleted that line but it still didnt make any difference, it still took around 5 minutes per turn.
So then i replaced mine with the OLD Handicap and everything went back to 30-40 seconds???:crazyeye:
Now the question is, if i again delete that replacement line from MY Handicap system will it again go back to 5 minutes turn times?? or rather should it??
I think something may be wrong with a setting. (Keep the replacement structure setup exactly as you had it or you could cause some issues there...)
Some of these settings have deep interactions in AI codes and will cause big problems if the value of the tag is outside of an expected range. Look for anything that normally has a value that's been reduced to 0 or less perhaps.

Was hoping to see this as part of the release but if it's causing trouble like this we may have to give it some better testing first.

The right hand image is hilarious! (Now THAT's a powerful gladiator! lol) No wonder DH was asking if animals should be converted too! I think this shows that the easy adjustment would be to say... no they shouldn't be.
 
There's no :yuck: anywhere, so disease becomes mostly irrelevant (and even give you +:health: with the appropriate tech...).

AH - I see it now ;)

We've discussed adjusting those before. It's becoming time to do that (but I'm not one of the many modders on the building crew at the moment.)

EDIT:
I also fixed the gladiator issue according to the way SO wanted it (that the new gladiator has emerged among the people as a disciple of Sparticus rather than as a conversion of the unit defeated.) Just took away the convert command on the newly created unit (and added enough damage to finish off the old one regardless of any Size Matters settings.)


I found the issue with the animals being overpowered. Also noted there's an appallingly minimal amount of animals possible to be produced by that wonder. Keeps it safe from any modular adjustments taking some animals out of the fileset I suppose but I'd love to someday expand the scope on those significantly. We could even have differing types of biodomes representing different types of ecosystems... Would probably need to build a new building tag to represent what that building does. I may eventually work that into the Generic Categories project somehow.

1:- I have coal mining tech, coal is visible on the map. I can only build a fort on it? no mine option available and no coal mine building in the cities it is adjacent to. Is this as intended?

2:- I can build a mountain mine ONLY if there is a resource on the mountain (copper, sulphur etc). If 'just a mountain' no option to build a mine. Intended?

The crash is taking place in the exe after a unit evaluates for plot danger. I made sure there was a link between getting Sedentary Lifestyle and the crash and sure enough there is. Unfortunately, I'm at a total loss any further than this because it's taking place in the exe.

Alberts: can you take a look at this too? You sometimes are able to figure things out I can't.

Just like that... you had it right on the file you sent me. Did you get a mini out of it?

Although you DO need the AlternateID tag in use.

OK i deleted the line above(and replacementID tag) and put it into the CORE and it works fine.
But as soon as the above is placed back, CTD.(minus the ID) and not in modules area.

I'am sorry but this time i can't fix it. It's crashing inside the exe, it could be a art error but if it is one there is no way to tell what causes it. It is possible that it is something else:confused: but without the source code for the exe there is not much we can do.
