Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

The slavery world view buildings are set to "never capture".

Please check your XML Assets/Modules/DancingHoskuld/Captives/Captives_CIV4BuildingInfos.XML. The first two buildings should have the tags <bNeverCapture>1</bNeverCapture>. If they don't then that could be the problem.

Please report back either way.

all <bNeverCapture> </bNeverCapture> are fine with 1

I think two of us looked at this and thought the other was going to do it. I'll have a look now.

edit the code on that line is more like CyPlayer.AI_getAttitude(CyPlayer) which suggests you may have an older version. Please check as the code I am seeing on the SVN looks just like Platyping's code. I admit I am dyslexic so I may have missed something and will look again if you have the most up to date code.
 
See attached save game. SVN 8419 (april 1 2015)

Enemy city (Sparta) is defended by a wood spearman, strength 0.03/3.00. I am unable to attack this unit (attempts simply fail) which means I cannot continue my game. This unit also doesn't heal. EDIT: I deleted the unit in worldbuilder so I can continue.

I posted a similar-looking problem a few months ago and it was fixed then. Apparently that was caused by a buggy Size Matters combat calculation (although I have turned off Size Matters then and now). However, at that time a workaround was to save/reload and the bugged unit would disappear. Unfortunately, that workaround does not work this time.

The bugged unit has a (rare) astrology promotion. Perhaps that plays a role.

My svn revision is 8419 which is after the last change to platypingwonders.py which was 8397 so it should be the latest version.
 
@Stormwind I have looked and looked again. I even tried comparing word for word and still I can't see anything wrong. It must be something dyslexic!

Can someone else look at the modules/platyping/PlatyPingWonders.py code and compare it with Platyping's code for his Utopia wonder?
 
Got this problem too but when I opened and checked this unit (asian bombard elephant) then texture changed to correct one. Dunno maybe its problem with caching or smth. In XML everything looks ok.
 
It's fixable but it's a b**ch to fix. Now that it's mentioned I imagine I'll look into it at some point. I'm on a bit of a modding break for a bit but it should be added to the bug list and eventually addressed nevertheless.

Thank you. Another bug, probably related:
I conquered a city (pop 2). The city produced 34 food. After recalc (Shift-CTRL-T), it only produced 16 food, which was the correct amount per the worked tiles and buildings present.

P.S. recalc also set the city's tourism (164) back to zero. Which was great because the crime went a bit out of hand: 355 and rising, and I hadn't even researched Tribalism yet so no way to stop that amount of crime. And the Revolutions bar started to creep up.
 
Repeatable crash after pressing EoT

Latest SVN, Redwallyz GEM map, civ megapack 3.2
It is late reneissance time, but i was using viewports so i think it's not memory issue. Also i tried simplified graphics version of civ megapack - same crash.

Something has gone wrong with the religion sounds and the effects when the missionary attempts to spread the religion to the city. Some are getting the wrong ones others are not getting any. The sound problem occurred when the .wav files were replaced or removed.

maybe, now the elephants are fine again.

Has this kind of AI behaviour been addressed? There's 143 sheriffs in that AI city. That's a tad excessive, to say the least. Is the AI wise to the fact that I've been spying in that city for a long time (since espionage missions are cheapest there)? Law enforcement units do help in catching enemy spies, right?

I am getting an error with the text "Error in the combatResult event handler <function onCombatResult at 0x1c8807b0" which causes a CTD. the event happens when I hit end turn, so I can't really see what is creating the error.

a search didn't uncover anything, so hopefully this is the correct place to ask for help?

Checked these sounds and they are exacly the same after wav to mp3 changes like before these changes.
Religions which dont have any spread sounds are:
- Tengrism
- Scientology

Religions which uses Buddhism spread sound are:
- Ngaaism
- Yoruba
- Zorroastrianism

Religions which uses Hinduism spread sound are:
- Andean
- Kemetism
- Mormon
- Jainism

Religions which uses Great Prophet sound are:
- Naghualism
- Voodoo

Religions which uses neutral religion sound (bells and choir sound) are:
- Asatru
- Druidism
- Hellenism
- Shamanism
- Mesopotamism
- Baahaism
- Caananite Religion

Shinto uses Confucianism sound and Sikhism - Islam sound.

I hope everything is clear now :)
