There is a bigger problem here. The simplest solution would be to just give Barbarians their button in the same way as everyone else and get rid of the test but The real question is what is it we want to show on this page and does having the animals here make sense. I have been playing a bit of Civ III and can't remember the Civ IV Military screen, although I seem to remember it was less useful than in Civ III which is probably why I rarely use it in Civ IV.
Heh, yeah, I've only used it to figure out where on the map my automated hunters and recons are. I think it makes sense to have the animals here too though, so it's possible to select them and see where those that are revealed are on the map. Then again, it doesn't hold much military value, so perhaps only barbs and neanderthals should be represented from the NPC teams.

Yes we did (I think;)) and while the code should be removed I am not sure it makes any difference since those options will be false just as if they were not selected so the code will be ignored.

edit I think this whole module may be removed as I think this is the module I was talking about in my previous post. I think it has been replaced by Platyping's WB. Although I would prefer we made sure we had the latest of his before we removed this.
Sounds like most of the python digging I did today had some relevance in one way or another; excellent. ^^
 
@Toffer90 The module Tester.py is mostly trace prints and fixing things that may have gone wrong but never should have. It is part of Revolution. The bit of code you are pointing out checks to see if the valid player is not at war with the Barbarians and set them to "at war" if they aren't.

I suspect that at sometime the Revolution mod had a rare case when a Barbarian city became a new nation the Barbarians were getting set to peace with everyone! This just fixes that problem. It would only affect the Barbarians in this case and I doubt we will do anything with the other NPCs becoming nations.

DH's latest update did the fix for the error messages and also now can use the score/visibility icons again, YEAH!!, thx alot DH!!;)

but for 1 thing it added 20 seconds to each turn??

Can't remember exactly what I did but it was mostly removing code that should not be there so any change to turn times must be due to something that these cahnges now allow:mischief:

also the Great Farmer is not allowed to build resources given to ur civ from another civ??(pic2)

1) was fixed recently edit oh you mean the buildings not the units. The icons were changed for the units but not the buildings.

2) GF should be able to build plant and animal map resources you get from others. That is the point of them.
 
1st CTD since Ancient Era, now in Industrial Era

I fixed one problem, have another to investigate, and the crash itself is coming from the jet fighter animation problem that's been with us for a very long time. I may need to disable unit combat animations across the board.

Boys, you all know much I appreciate your work. Although there are problems, it does not matter. In any case occurs the usual problem. No one can read the saved games. For example. If I start a new game, I still keep the game open until the first CTD. After, if I try to open a savedgame, the game crashes at the end of the initialization process of the map.
I send the minidump and the savegame. I Hope I could help. If not, thank you for your work.

A representation of these events is to be identified in the François Tomb of Vulci , where from left to right we find Caule Vipinas releasing Macstrna (ie Macstarna , identified with the sixth king of Rome, Servius Tullius ); Larth Ulhtes kills Laris Papathnas Velznach (from Volsinii ); Pesna Aremsnas Sveamach is killed by Rasce; Venthikau ... plzach is killed by Classrooms Vipinas ( Aulus Vibenna ). The last scene on the right shows Marce Camitlnas killing Cnaeve Tarchunies Rumach (Gnaeus Tarquinius of Rome).

In the enemy city there were many thieves. After my stalker attacked the enemy city (without war) and killed the last defender - the city has become barbaric. This is a bug or a feature? :)
