other things that are probably a bug:
- Captive - Neanderthal can't build seed camp but with Agriculture later can build a farm
- change of civics have no revolution duration for the complete game so far (Agriculture is my highest tech)

Designed that way. Ask yourself - "Would you really have 100s of years of anarchy when you changed to those civics?". Most the answer is no.

Something minor.
My great farmer cant plant pomegranates or Ginny pigs. I do have access to them and other things up to now seem fine. (other fruits or animals.)

In one of the random events I was asked to help my brothers in fait by sharing strategic resources. So I read the tool tip on sharing rubber and it told me I did not have the uranium to pick that option....

Our Events Modder left long ago.

@ TB is there anything on those mini-dumps that i could look at, because now my game is CTDing every 10 turns or so??

No. But I'm making some progress. I'm not ignoring everything. I've just been hung up for a few weeks on one very complicated issue and then once solved had 3 other issues to resolve to truly fix the full reported scenario. That's pretty much done now and I continue to march on.

If you're getting that many crashes, something more has happened since the last dll and I'd have to suspect graphic issues since of all the things introduced since the last dll that is the one with the greatest element of risk that has taken place.

As requested over in the Troublemaking criminals thread, savegame with all three combat mod options off (Size Matters, Fight or Flight, Hide and Seek) showing inability to get rid of spawned criminals in my cities. SVN9199, I believe.

Criminals in question are a mixed bag parked in my capital of Bibracte, on the west coast of my main continent. There are more criminals in the cities in the far north and along the east coast of the continent. None of the criminals in any cities have accumulated any Wanted promotions, which is likely the reason for inability to Arrest. I believe what's happening is that the Investigation check is succeeding once in a while (granting XP to investigating units), but it's failing to add the Wanted promotion to the criminals.

Assassination attempts against them also fail, silently. In the capital, there are a Game Hunter, Assassin, Hashishin, and a pair of Scoundrels. The first three do not have Criminals on their target list, so should not be able to assassinate them if I'm understanding the mechanic correctly. The last does, and should. Mouseover of the Assassinate button gives no target or odds for the first three units. Mouseover on the Scoundrels' Assassinate buttons DO give odds against one of the Troublemaking Criminal Assassins, but not all of the time. In all cases, clicking the button results in a popup with options of "______" (blank) and "No", neither of which has any effect.

Finally, if any of the assassination-capable units leaves the city and attempts to reenter, it will be blocked from doing so. Sometimes, a brief flash of combat odds occurs if the unit in question is a Scoundrel.

I've now debugged all the issues reported here. Wooo... that was quite a bit of complicated stuff to sort out.

I'm about to post this in the SVN thread but this is pretty much the breakdown of what was happening:
  • fixes the non-hide and seek version of the Wanted promotion - units that should have been receiving it were not qualifying for it due to there being no combat class qualification specified for it since that was a part of the promotionline and the promotionline was not defined for the core Wanted promo.

  • Fixes bad caching which was causing assassination attempts to only be possible when you first hovered over the icon, then once pressed, the mission would not find a valid target thereafter. Removing the caching may have a horrible side effect on slowing down turn times and I may therefore need to redesign the caching. However, the caching, albeit not working properly, was Alberts2's design and I could see where he was going with it but I don't know maps well enough to have debugged it and he may see the easier way to debug it so I've just left it commented out until he can take a look.

  • There were numerous movement rule flaws interacting with the assassination mechanism that were making it possible for some units to attack some units when moving into a city. This should be debugged at this point - all issues I was able to see on the save I was evaluating were resolved but I cannot promise all move rule issues are completely fixed by this.

Koshling added that years ago i only made a few changes to make it more efficient. I don't now how the assassination code works so i have to look at it and see if it is possible to fix it.

Didn't see a message about this (see screenshot for more detail)
Neanderthal and Animals use MY flag (I m Aztec)
Neanderthal have a no name city with no information

Maybe just a balance thing, but having Cave painting give a lot more science and culture when I had to cultural héritage. 8 before and 44 just after.... Maybe too much diffrence?

Some reason when I reach Industrial Era, the game just freezes up at random times. It does not even crash to the desktop, it just freezes at the end of a turn. I am not sure why, it is almost like it is endlessly processing a turn. I have lowered the graphics to the lowest possible settings and lowered other settings to reduce the demand. I have included the most recent save game and computer specs. If you need anything else, please let me know.

What is the longest time u waited, because it all depends on mainly 2 things, # of civs, and size of map.

I have seen some OLDER PC having to wait at a minimum of 10 minutes per turn because of this.

This is why WE suggest u start with less than 10 civs, and only on a large map, but i suggest even lower than the others, i suggest only 5 civs, and the BIGGEST map size of "standard."

My computer is newer. I am playing a duel size map, with 2 civilizations. I have waited at least 5 minutes. Also it does not seem the size of the map matters. I have played on gigantic map and the same error happens. It does not seem to matter, I can not seem to progress through the Industrial Era.

Then look at post # 1 and do what the info suggests, thx . .

You want a log?

I am sorry. Thanks to you pointing out that post, I read it more carefully. I realized I am quite possibly incredibly stupid. I am in the wrong forum.

How so? Was that a stock v36 problem you were having? I remember solving quite a few neverending turn problems early in this development cycle.

Yes, it was a stock v36 problem. It was the Lotus Temple error.

Someone said here somewhere that he couldn't build African buildings or units after conquering some African city. I can confirm the existence of the problem. I have two different games with the problem. In the first I didn't get Oceanian culture after occupying Maori cities, in the second I didn't get South American culture after conquering the Inca empire.

Both saves created with SVN 9228, the game options are included in the zip files.
