Single Player bugs and crashes v38 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of February 2018

It did... but I'm breaking it up into smaller commits right now and I've been able to get the worst of it through already so it should go smooth from here. Was good that it failed actually because I was accidentally committing a bunch of unpacked art files that weren't supposed to go in anyhow. Breaking them up showed me my error.

There still are some loose art files for example in alt timelines.

I guess it isn't finished yet, since there is a lot of pink icons and missing unit art in cultural units now.

yes, u have to wait till ALL FPK are committed, then look .. i know the feeling, i used to do the FPK packaging for the first well 10 yrs, lol .. .

On commit SVN 10656 80% of cultures are missing some type of art.

So I guess I have to wait for SVN 10657.
 
Hmm... if that's the case than something I did that I thought would work apparently doesn't. I'll have to fix it later tonight then.
Seems like you didn't put removed art in FPK.

Also some DDS and NIF files still are in modules.
SVN 10657 commit was absolutely empty too - Assets folder was modified without stuff inside.

I did but the file path in the FPK apparently MUST start with Art and cannot go to a Modules folder right away. :(

That sucks cuz it means I'll need to change the file path references in the XML on these too. That may take some days to accomplish.

SVN 10657 commit was absolutely empty too - Assets folder was modified without stuff inside.
Yes, it was a cleanup commit for my file system that had a wiggy little thing happening in that it wanted to add a folder it shouldn't be adding and when I told it to ignore that folder it wanted to update that to the SVN for whatever reason. I obliged it.
 
What did I miss?
A lot of stuff - around 39 DDS files and 13 NIF files scattered in Alt Timelines, Dancing Hoskud, and Platyping folders according to Windows Search.

You can type Art in windows search while in modules folder to search for art folders.
Or delete those art folders and then when committing or reverting you can see what files were deleted.

Maybe that's why module art never was packaged?
 
Ah... some of it I left in place on purpose. That said, I'm beginning to think anything in modules should've been left in modules as they were. I'm probably just going to let them remain unpacked. Otherwise I'll be spending a lot of time on remapping the art file paths in the modules xmls and I'm not even sure that's necessarily the right way to go about modular art references in the first place. I just posted a question to everyone on that in the ideas thread.

Not sure if you mean what I think you mean but I just added a note to explain the error in the FPK file path is now known and needs to be resolved later.
 
@Thunderbrd since that two cultural units had errors (wrong path, I reported this one) I can fix them now, since their art never was in FPK - I didn't knew, that ALL module art was left unpackaged.

Yeah it was to your 2nd EDIT cause the 3rd was not there when I last looked.
