Single Player bugs and crashes v43 plus (SVN) - After January 2023

With the latest revision (11633) I'm unable to make a path with a plain worker after having researched "The Wheel".

According to the tooltip the prerequisite is "Road Building" which is in contradiction with the civilpedia entry for "The Wheel".
Doesn't appear to be a bug, since I later noticed I was able to build paths on the 'easier' flat tiles. It's just the description of the wheel that leaves people to figure that out for themselves.

Check the description of the Game Option that refers to roads. If it's ON, you won't be able to easily build roads everywhere. I don't use it, though, because I find it stupid, lol.
 
@Toffer90 Any idea of the next SVN Update being posted?
 
About the latest update. My current saved jobs can go to the trash again...
Since the unit building possibilities have disappeared from the Kuiper Belt to the Star Colonies..

What size map & # Ai do U use to get to last 5 Eras fastest? For Civic testing I need a t least 2-4 AI still alive by the Time I ge to Atomic Era.

"Fastest" for me means "faster turn times", and that always means "play solo".
Now, "better testing" may or may not require rival civs, though I'm not sure what you'd be testing on them that you couldn't do solo.
I usually play either "solo", "40 civs", "solo + emerging Barb civs", or even "40 civs + emerging Barb civs" (my ongoing game is the latter type, lol) - but it's a very specific type of "testing".
So I doubt I can answer your question, lol.

i think one or maybe both go into or past Atomic era??? quite a few civs on these. .

In Civics I need to know when a rival takes the newest Civic or for that matter what group of civics. Not just what I use for my empire. Solo testing in that regard only gives it id works or not. Does Not tell anything about Opponent useage.
 
@Coders: Now for my "bug" report: 1.since when did Barb wanders got the allowance to enter my Capitol city during early game? (#17)
2. Early Barb Cities are still getting INSANE numbers of Units! (#18) over 50 slingers already! Plus the other type units. This is withOUT SELECTING ANY bARB oPTIONS AT gAME sET UP.
Thought this had been toned down too. Totally Unrealistic to have a Barb City very early game have 90+ units and still producing more. While AI or human player cannot produce more than 10-15 Max. AGAIN No Barb Options were checked at Game Setup! THIS NEEDS CAPPED ASAP! No Barb City should be ever able to produce more than 30 units Total at any time in the game. By the Time U get to Tribalism and can found a 2nd City the Barbs have in Your Area 5-8 Cities with stacks of 100+ Barb Mil Units. U can Literally spend all of the 1st 2 eras Just fighting Barbs!
This has been a Gripe of mine for YEARS! IF I wanted to fight this many Barbs for this Long it should be an Option Like Aggressive Barb and the other Barb option that buffs their ability to Be a terror! Coding needs fixed in this area.

1. Wanderers NOW can move everywhere. I had to get used to it first myself, then I started using them for whole map discovery. It's... cheaty, yeah.
2. In my kinda-ongoing game (which I posted as a thread), I had like 7 Barbs cities clustered nearby, but they only had maybe 10 units per city, if not less.
I guess this may differ on the specific map conditions (not options, I mean the actual map itself - civs and their positioning). But it didn't feel THAT bad in this particular game.

What Difficulty level. This game I just started is only on Prince. I usually test on Emperor Or Immortal. In anycase the barb Cities Have Always had Too mnay units in and around them for years now. Caveat: I Do Not use Size Matters in these Civic test Games. Nearest Barb City, Been whittling down the groups coming out of this city. But still....59 and growing slingers?!!
