Umma is useless, and walled, and pillaging is a good idea. We're still pondering whether to pillage or just go attacking .

Of course, it will decrease AI production and research rate, also we must pillage their resources. But if we will pillage iron, and bring an army back, they will connect it again in few turns. We now have enough troops to take that city, we just need a combat settler to raze and immediatly resettle it.

Good to see second iron, but I think it wasn't good to take an army too far away from our empire. Attacking Arabs, espesially without army, was a mistake - Maya is the biggest threat, and we should take care of it. I'd suggest to bring an army back, anyway we couldn't keep both irons disconnected, and destroy their town with iron. Only then we may go and pillage second source of iron, this will force them to build JT's and suicide.

Probaly should have used army to take arab city. But I thought my stack was big enough to take it and didn't axpect the maya would send a stack to our stack. On top of that I had some bad luck haviing a reg archer killing 1 of the AC's, and lot's of misses of the cats. If the cats had take 1 HP of all the spears and the AC would have been healty the city would have been ours, and the arabs would not have been such a pain in the ***, with all their landings.

I vote to finish this one. I am not sure if we can win but lets fight to the point of no return, and we are not there yet.

Not a lot of notice on the swap request there. I kind of have a job and kids and can't just drop everything and play some turns. I already had a different SG scheduled for my Civ time last night.

Pre-turn- The save doesn’t look as bad as it did the first couple times I opened it.

IBT- Kill two MDI with AC on defense in lagash [2-0]. Arabs unload LB

• Bomb reg LB, take off a hit point, then attack with archer, and lose . Attack it with AC and win. [3-1]. Bomb big stack approaching Lagash.

IBT- Lose 2 EW’s, two archers, and two cats on hills. [4-5]. Also get attacked by sword at Lagash and win.

• Kill LB on one hill with AC then send in two EW’s to protect it. [5-5]. Send cat stack from Lagash over to Sumer, we need reinforcement, the choke is being breached.

IBT- MDI kills EW on hill [5-6]. Arabs unload longbow.

Played two turns. Looking grim. Not out of it yet, our army is now pillaging it's way home, where we can start a conquest of the Mayans. Hope we can survive until then.

Kill counts are dramatically decreased, did you stopped because Lagash will be taken on the IBT?
Mistake was the same - we have sent army out of home... I'm thinking now that AWS cannot be done without very good luck and nice land.
What will we do now?

It's not over yet, I'm just pausing for a while. We can still stop them at lagash, and our army can pillage it's way home.

I have no idea how to stop 6 MDI's and longbow with one AC, EW and catapult
We may sell walls if we want to recapture it later, anyway they are useless at size 7...
