Define average.

An Imperial pint = 568ml
A US pint = 473ml
Rest of world = 500ml

Is this in a bar? Depending on the Bar, I would say $3,50-4.50....so I put $4.

I havent been to a bar in a long time. Not a fan. I drink alone baby.

€4.50 for a pint on average. Thats $6.20 in yankee dollars.

In a pub.

Edit: I actually don't pay this much though. I only really drink pints in student bars which would be about €3.

For a 500 mL pint I pay €2 at the youth pub, but that can cost you €3 at many pubs, and €4 or more at more upscale ones.

Then again we usually work in 250 mL ones, and it often differs a lot from beer to beer and pub to pub. So quite frankly I have no idea what to choose.

I pay about €4.00 for a pint here in Galway so that is about $5.56 but I never buy a pint on it's own so I have no idea what it is exactly.

That's a robbery!

Beer (0.5l) costs about 1-3 USD, 3 dollars would be very expensive (hotels for foreign tourists, snobbish restaurants). In most pubs you can get it for 1-2 USD (1 Euro).

There's a lot of conversions going on here.

It's 4 bucks for a 12 ounce bottle of beer.
