Never tell me the odds
The Greeks weren't fighting for Europe or democracy... and your numbers are completely skewed. Gem Hound's account is much more accurate.
You imperialist barbarian scums.

Why exactly is France's reason for aiding Greece in the first place?
We are proud to fight with the heirs of alexander the great. Also what do you think abou trade?
So basically, I claimed territory RIGHT BESIDE my own country, the Greeks BLITZKRIEGED across Anatolia to get to it, and I'm seen as the aggressor? And now, instead of fighting an even war which was going to simmer down people are beginning to dogpile me? Who are the real barbarians?
Think about that.
Angola would like to point out that Persia won the Battle of Thermoplyae, not the Greeks.
The Angolan Commonwealth supports Persia against the French imperialists, but we cannot afford to send military or financial aid currently.
I'll just chime in that based on posting times, Greece did claim the Caucasus first; the map wasn't posted by Persia before Greece posted its own. So, using the rule of finders keepers, the Greeks got most of the land(Persia was compensated with land in the East).
I'll also add this is Imperium Offtopicum, not the World History or OT forum.
Also - I'm pretty sure Christo's OOC reason for backing Greece is his own personal Greek nationality, though I suppose IC, France is Eurofascist, based on how the Asians are seen as barbarians.

Ahem:
Tibet and Gangia, while both non-interventionist, have decided that the Greco-Persian War is of interest to the Subcontinent. As such, they have sent a small aid package of 12 billion gold to the Persians. This is just a taste.
Tibet and Gangia's thoughts on the war are simple - that Greece has the right to, and only to, retake the Caucasus. Pushing any further in will merit serious intervention, not out of desire but out of necessity.
Persia's territorial integrity being vital to the balance of regional power, everything east of Iraq and South of the Caucasus is deemed as off limits. If the forces of France and Greece turn this into a war of imperialism, rather than a war of self-defense, the consequences will be dire.
I did.Furthermore, you haven't even responded to my peace post thing.
Because, they know that I am important to the local balance of power. If I go further than the pre-war borders, know that I plan on giving the lands back post-war. Neither Greece nor Byzantium have any interest in the lands to the south or east of the Caspian, unless the guys in the lands start slights us. Speaking of slights, if you guys think it's so freaking awesome that I'm defending myself, why are you giving money to Persia?
Just noticed this next post:After hearing the enthusiasm from France. The German Republic is willing to send the Nassau Super Battleship to patrol the coast off of Caucasus on the side of the Greeks.
These two posts contradict each other. Were only sending a battleship battle group to patrol the seas, were not opening fire on them. The German Republic did not declared war against the Persians.
This also contradicts the first post. For the record, the Super Battleship Nassau is only there as an observer.![]()
I did.

Exactly...I think by "on the side of the Greeks" He meant in the black sea.
I didn't denounce random countries, only yours and France. So you did.
Not even going to consider a counter offer? Sheesh, on top of not threatening me and not openly denouncing random countries, it seems like you don't actually know how diplomacy works!
SBAG is non-interventionist and wouldn't actually do anything if it om-noms Persia.
Exactly...
...So Persia, quit jumping the gun and assuming everything is against you!.
Persia accepts the promise of future help and we hope that it is not needed.Angola would like to point out that Persia won the Battle of Thermoplyae, not the Greeks.
