To be "one of the greatest presidents" in our history you kind of have to do something. Bombing an unarmed, ungoverned desert and giving your pals a tax cut doesn't quite yet measure up, at least IN MY opinion, to say, winning the civil and freeing the slaves, or founding the nation, or writing the constitution, or purchasing Louisiana, or winning world war too. Heck, this guy isn't even as succesful as his dad, who at least convinced France to fight Iraq...

My signature was based on a poll being displayed on MSN on the internet two days ago. It asked people to grade Bush, and at the time I took the info down the Ds and Fs added up to the percentage you see below. Polls thru the roof? Rock on! More power to him, literally.
I am not making fun of "Texans" when I write nukular, I know plenty of Texans who can speak English correctly.
The President hardly needs you to protect him from my biting criticism; on the other hand you are correct to defend teenage republicans from my negative comments. I apologize again to Zarn (who threatened my life in another thread- really cheery right wing stuff!), rmsharpe and anyone else who aren't comfortable enough with the President and both houses of Congress looking out for you but would prefer to hear the end of all opposite views...

My spirit is just about broken here in the USA. I've seen good people turn very bad very quickly because of fear and hatred. I am also tired of always "sticking in AoA's craw"... never my intention, almost always the result. It's the same way with my lineal ancestors. There are (at least) two distinct ways to look at the world right now and the one which is the officially endorsed paradigm in the US thoroughly disgusts me.
