Former Titans QB was shot twice in the chest and twice in the head. Suicide murder, his girlfriend pulled the trigger and killed McNair and herself.

10 days ago: FILE - In this Jan. 2, 2004 file photo, Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair smiles while speaking in Baltimore about the NFL Most Valuable Player award which he shared with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. McNair, who led the Tennessee Titans within a yard of forcing overtime in the 2000 Superbowl and led the Baltimore Ravens to the playoffs, has been shot and killed on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Another overpaid sports star who contributed nothing to society as a whole dies. The world mourns.

he contributed to social psychological hygene.

when will you oh-so-sophisticated-and-edgy people understand that sports events are an important part of aggression management in civilizations?

'Fraid I'll have to agree, cynical as this viewpoint is.

He was a father of 4 you jagoffs. Yea, now go and pretend you still don't care or that some how your point still stands. You're just in that sick group of people who can't wait to show the world how little you care whenever someone dies.

"Ohhh I'm so edgy and cool and unemotional. Excuse me while I piss on your memories and get off on your delicious tears."

Also, the OP is a bit slow on the uptake.

Yup. It's pretty tiresome. If that is their attitude, then why don't they just not post.

Yeah i know. His death is much more important compared to those who do real jobs.

Football is a real job, seeing as you get paid. Anyways, Steve McNair contributed more to society than you could even dream of you useless moron.

Okay then. I guess our soldiers will get a small mention in our pages, but lets devote an entire page to a man who gets a huge amount of money for playing american football. Sounds fair.

so he wasnt useless, but not useful enough for a thread on cfc? gimme a break.

I never said he was useless, but everyone seems to care about these so called "stars", which annoys me. I guess i should apologise for bringing the truth to you all, that these people don't deserve anymore fame then the rest of us.

That's because these stars touch more people's lives than soldiers or people doing "real jobs." Anyone with a brain could figure that out, yet you say the same thing every time a famous person passes on. You would think that someone could figure it out by now.

Thanks for admitting that us real people are nothing compared to these stars. I guess we should give more thanks to the likes of Michael Jackson and Jade Goody, rather then our nurses, doctors, soldiers, firemen etc.

who's death is gonna be reported on, a fireman 300 people knew about or a quarterback 300 million people knew about?

who are people on an international online forum be able to talk about, a local fireman from abernathy, texas or a former nfl quarterback?
