Copy paste this exact text to your windows file explorer:Anyone can help me where to download these mods to? I run Civ7 on Windows 11 through Steam. I've tried creating a folder in /documents/my games/civilization vii/ but that doesn't seem to work. I can't find the folder you are referring to on my PC. Where should I look?
The folder is zipped a a 7z file. Its essentially the same thing though, just more irritating because you cant open it with windows by default. You need to use 7-zip file manager then when you open it you will see the folder inside and you can drag it to your mods folder or extract it as you wish,@sukritact - the mod is only downloading as a single 7z file, not a folder to extract. Am I missing something?
I've held off on adding translations for this version because I've added a pretty big new feature that need a bunch of new text.
Changelog:
- The Building Placement Panel has been revamped. The Panel will now show a detailed breakdown of the gains and losses for placing a building on any particular tile.

That's really weird, I don't have any problem (using on a saved game even):Weird, I have it installed and I'm not getting this screen. It looks amazing, though!
It's set to a really low load priority, since a lot of mods exist that revamp this same screen. Make sure you have any such mods disabled.Weird, I have it installed and I'm not getting this screen. It looks amazing, though!
ahh thanks for that! i've verified that the new feature is fully compatible with my City Hall mod – the only overlap is a bugfix to the base-game adjacency arrows, which both of us fixed in the same way. It's set to a really low load priority, since a lot of mods exist that revamp this same screen. Can you post a screenshot? Given it’s a stonecutter, are you sure you’re not seeing warehouse yields as opposed to adjacency bonuses? The new UI is great thanks. Just a question about overbuilding though and I am probably misunderstanding.
Most of the old buildings have a cost to maintain like -2 happiness -2 gold but that isnt refelected in the UI.
Also the results didnt match for me on my first try. Building a stonecutter over a brickyard. Original Tile yield 2 4 2 2 (P G C I). New overbuild UI says 3P 3 P for adjacency and -2 P, -2 G for overbuilding for a total of 4 P -2 G. But the tiles ends up as 3 2 2 2 where i would have expected 6 2 2 2.
Sorry thats probably not explained well.
