You are confusing a popular definition of a word with a narrower, legal one. Is this a pun or a serious argument?

You could be sitting on a jury and have a belief in their guilt but still vote for acquittal if the prosecution didn't meet its burden. The Court of Public Opinion is not a Court of Law.
