Sum up the last two years here for me

I was gone for awhile but discovered tapatalk so I lurk while on the train. I see Godwynn in r.l. every so often.

Good to see one of the classics back Ralph.

Yes, I think Berzerker is mixing up the terms 'condemn' and 'convict'.

Jolly Roger was on the jury? Like, the actual jury that gave out a non-existent guilty sentence?

That guy gets around. Thought he was in Tejas for some reason.

Hey Whomp! How your gal, family, and boat are all doing well.

All's good here. I'm put in charge of the house way too much with my wife's travel! Danger! :p

May be the last of many fine years for the boat. We didn't get out nearly enough last year so come visit again before she's gone.

You dont need to be on a jury to convict someone, just a belief - a conviction - in their guilt

I guess I should get around to carrying out the sentence.

He's suffered enough already

and you only thought he might not be found guilty after the evidence you used to convict him evaporated

I guess the thread turning into a rehashing of the Martin homocide is a great demonstration of what has gone on here for the past two years.

It was to be expected that some local ME-posters would have the thread come down to this useless ego-stroking :(

Anyway, in the last 2 years i had 25 short stories printed :yup: :jesus:

You could be sitting on a jury and have a belief in their guilt but still vote for acquittal if the prosecution didn't meet its burden. The Court of Public Opinion is not a Court of Law.
