Methos - skip
Darwin - skip
whomp - just played
Locki III - up
MjM - on deck

AK that may bring it back to you since Locki (last I saw) couldn't get the patch working, MjM is MiA and Methos is out of pocket over the weekend.

A few things I'd point out. We are researching astro so resources from the other civs are coming online in these turns and we have stuff to trade. Focusing on commerce and growth seems to be in our interest. We need a good balance of luxs and health in return. Starting to settle the island to our east and missionaries to our west seems like a layup.

We are playing all peace. No wars unless we are attacked.

chuwhompa? I'll work on the warplans ;) Noble? UN or Cultural? BTW, there's enough time left to do either.

only problem is I can't seem to find the save? :crazyeye:

Here's the save btw...

lo and behold, out of the wasteland came a leader, Igor.

Speak his name and look onto death.

Disappointed in his followers, was he for failing to spread the word. Igor the second eldest decreed that the word shall be spread unto the lands of the open borders. Virgins and such were sent to the monestaries such that missionaries could be procreated and spread as the pollen of a flower on a bee. An lo, in a city forgotten by time, the conversion was made and gold flowed to the treasury.

The stars. Igor leaned back on the throne of the gnome and there were little points of lights in the sky. Since Igor had not imbibed of the sacred beer this night, he wondered what those lights represented. And lo, it came to igor that the god of the hinjews demanded a leap of faith and a gamble at Djenne in an attempt to get to get a palace of light or Versailles as the heathen call it.

The rule of Igor I hath been prosperous and the faith hath spread. There remain 2 missionaries to go forth and spread our ideas.

Mjm spread hinjewish to the other continent. Keep building happy buildings. No war unless we are declared on so defensive units and arty are fine for military, in fact I don't think we have any cats.

I won't be able to take a turn until Friday. Just so's you all know. :D

I can take my turns tonight.

The Reign of A'Dar (1450-1490): (Sorry could only play 5 turns tonight)

A'Dar lead his people through mediocrity, to say the best. He oversaw the discovery of Astronomy, and set his people to learn about "Guilds." The Spiral Minaret was completed on his watch, but he did not start it.

In 1480, he earned the title "Mad" A'Dar when a messenger from Frederick demanded the Mali cancel all deals with the Greeks. It is reported that A'Dar had the messenger taken to a pig farm and kept alive while the pigs ate him. He also was reported to fume when he found out the Romans were beginning a "Golden Age" that same year.

In 1490, the last year of A'Dar's rule, the Romans demanded 90g in tribute. A'Dar stuffed the messenger in a jar, and sent him back to Caesar. Trade was established with the Indians (dye for fur).

The Hagia Sophia was also started in Kumbi Saleh, probably to grandest thing A'Dar did during his reign.

Oh, and Judaism was spread forcefully to Nottingham.
