The Reign of A'Dar (1450-1490): (Sorry could only play 5 turns tonight)
A'Dar lead his people through mediocrity, to say the best. He oversaw the discovery of Astronomy, and set his people to learn about "Guilds." The Spiral Minaret was completed on his watch, but he did not start it.
In 1480, he earned the title "Mad" A'Dar when a messenger from Frederick demanded the Mali cancel all deals with the Greeks. It is reported that A'Dar had the messenger taken to a pig farm and kept alive while the pigs ate him. He also was reported to fume when he found out the Romans were beginning a "Golden Age" that same year.
In 1490, the last year of A'Dar's rule, the Romans demanded 90g in tribute. A'Dar stuffed the messenger in a jar, and sent him back to Caesar. Trade was established with the Indians (dye for fur).
The Hagia Sophia was also started in Kumbi Saleh, probably to grandest thing A'Dar did during his reign.
Oh, and Judaism was spread forcefully to Nottingham.
