I don't know. But what other explanation is there for Sweden actively encouraging immigration?

Certainly "orthodox Muslim male youths" aren't going to figure in the elderly care employment situation directly, as a rule. But maybe their ability, or willingness to do, as you say, low-paid work will be important.

I'm no expert on Sweden, it must be obvious. But all you, and others, are doing is highlighting a problem without suggesting a workable solution.

As paranoia induced as the videos in the OP might seem, Sweden does indeed face a demographical crisis created by its crazy immigration policies. It's not going to turn into a caliphate and Europe isn't going to be overrun by Muslims, but the fact remains that what their immigration policies are going to create huge problems for their children and the future of the country. It's not going to be easy to deal with.

I have nothing against immigration.. In fact, I support it.. But you need to plan ahead.. You can't just open the floodgates like that without any sort of plan as to how these people are going to be accommodated and how they're going to integrate with society. Because they're not.

The people in charge of the country are going to regret this.. And the answer is not stopping Muslims from immigrating. That is not the problem.. The problem is the very lax rules and the amount of people coming in.. That and a lot of the people coming in come from a completely different culture. They're used to completely different cultural norms and have a completely different level of education. There's no problem in letting people like that into your country, but when you have such a small country (in terms of population) and you open the floodgates to people who are by design going to be tough to integrate.. you are not going to have a very fun time.

I'm glad that Canadian immigration laws aren't nearly that lax. We let in plenty of immigrants, but we have a plan in place. Our immigration is sustainable. Swedish immigration laws are not sustainable at all.

Japan has very good anti-immigration laws. Singapore prevented its Islamification as well. Australia is an example to follow too.

we don't freely give out singaporean passports like during the post 9/11 era, ~2003-2008, but it's still ridiculously easy to get a job here even on a tourist visa. nobody respects the labour laws, at least "they" try their best not to apply them.

As a Muslim myself, I am not sure whether. I should be offended by this, but I'll just state for the record that citing Japan as a country with good anti-immigration laws is missing the big picture- Japan has an aging population and declining birth rates precisely because of its immigration laws, as new population can't be imported, for the lack of a better word, from other parts of the world to make up the difference in birth rates.

This has nothing to do with immigration, there is no cause-effect relation.

Certainly not. Low TFR is a typical feature of a particular temporary stage of civilizational development.

Highly developed civilized countries - by today's standards - tend to have low TFRs, but in some of them TFRs are already rising.

Certainly importing massive hordes of immigrants is not a better solution than encouraging locals to have more children.

And immigration from the Third World to the First World is harmful not just for the First World, but for both Worlds.

With most of their population emigrating, Third World countries will have it even harder to develop and catch up.

There's another option - only letting the highly skilled and educated in, seeping the talent from the rest of the world, at a slow and steady rate. ..the opposite of what Sweden is doing.

Financial encouragements and other facilitations (for example providing free help in rising children). Governments should especially encourage educated people to have children. Nowadays it is inversely - highly educated people tend to have few children while people who didn't complete scholls tend to have many.

All nations face this problem sooner or later.

And all of them will need to deal with this problem or otherwise humanity will be extinct in few centuries. 2.1 is the required fertility rate to ensure survival.

What you are suggesting is why third world countries will never catch up to the rest of the developed world; the most crucial parts of their population are being drained away by more developed countries and there is really nothing they can do about it except close borders and that won't be taken well by the rest of the world. Not that I disagree that as an immigration policy it is the best one one to follow.
