The move from Coppertown to Cumae was a difficult one, fellow citizens. It took me 1 whole term to reach my new hometown but I finally settled. Although different in climate from Coppertown, Cumae is a charming city. We have vast wheatfields to the southwest and beautiful hills further south and to the east. We've also spotted elephants and silk. This makes our citizens very happy and wealthy.

At the moment Cumae is having some production problems. Not all the surrounding terrain is cultivated yet and sadly the Romans occupy some valuable tiles. Since our nation's economy is prosperous I wish to take Cumae and the whole Northwestern aimag on an scientific journey. I also foresee an expanding culture for the cities in my aimag.

In Neapel there is only citizen or merchant, the merchant is better then the citizen, the specialist should go on the forest EEN or 69.
In Cumae you give 3 hamer for 4 commerce to research, but in Neapel you want 1 hamer better than 3 gold.
Pisae give the dye to Marseille and you can get there the Bib in 2 rounds with the 3 mines on hills, then you have in the 3. turn a scientist.

I'm also looking at the growth rate of cities. The faster they grow the sooner they get new citizens to work tiles.

Indeed. As posted, and in the instructions, that silk tile is for Cumae to work.

Best regards,

SS to E, what's that supposed to mean?!

Move the citizen from the tile South-South of Neapolis to the tile East of Neapolis.

Marseilles
Finish Courthouse, start Library

Pisae
Finish Catapult, start Buddhist Monastry, then Confucian Monastry (high culture/hammer ratings, plus they give a science boost)

Neapolis
Finish Bank, start Library

Cumae
Finish Bank, start observatory

Enjoy your TC :D
